These hoops attach securely to my Janome 550. I have 3 sizes. The magnets are strong. Keeps stabilizer and fabric very secure. Great value for cost.

I love using this with my Janome Memory Craft 500e embroidery machine. I worried a bit about the magnets messing with the electronics of the machine. But so far, no problem. The magnets are strong enough that when I go to trim the applique edges, my scissors are drawn to them. But that just shows how strong the magnets are. I bought this one and the 5.5x7.9 one and love them both.

My friend introduced me to this magnetic hoop and it is the best thing she could have done. The hoop is brilliant at keeping the stabiliser very taut for when you do your embroidery. The magnets are extremely strong - make sure your fingers don’t get caught. I have a Janome 550e embroidery only machine and would recommend this hoop for this machine. I also purchased the smaller hoop. Please check that the hoop fits your machine make and model before purchasing.

I have 3 sizes in this hoop. Great product. Much easier to hoop heavier/thicker items using magnetic hoop. Very sturdy. I am considering purchasing different magnets as I find the round magnets that come with the hoops are often not sufficient to hold the fabric/ stabilizer, batting ect... evenly which can cause puckers. I think long skinny rectangular magnets would help. Price point on these hoops is also much lower than other magnetic hoops.
