Are you asking how far they spray? It depends on how much you diffuse them. Our sprinkler heads are set 15 yards apart and each one reaches the other so that they overlap.

What is the significance of the blue nozzle?

Hunter has several sprinkler head lines that use different nozzles which are color coded. In installing sprinklers on an section containing several heads, the size of the nozzles can be varied to be sure the distribution of water is even. For example, if you have 4 heads on a given section, three or which swivel 360 deg and one that swivels 90 deg, put a head on the 90 deg head that delivered at 1/4 the rate of the other three heads. You can also compensate for head height on an uneven lawn with nozzles and trial and error
