It's much more absorbable, digestible, and result-oriented. no more nerve pain now. A bit pricey but has a better value than others, as other alpha lipoic acids are cheaper but they are synthetic and not absorbed by the body. The difference between the R form and the synthetic S form was night and day. So in my opinion Spend the extra money on R lipoic acid for neuropathy S is synthetic and is cheaper but a waste of money. An excellent high quality product that I highly recommend
