I live in the hot south and don't want to put toxic chemicals on my dog. This works like a dream.Others who say it doesn't work are probably not following the directions.When you first use it, you have to up the dose to load your dogs system with the active ingredients.This is the only product I use on my dog for flea and tick control. He's been on this for 3 years, and fleas and ticks have never been an issue.

It has the correct ingredients but I prefer a tincture I get at my cat's vet just because it doesn't stay in His bowl. The powder sticks to his bowl so about a third stays in the bowl.

I’ve tried multiple other “natural” flea and tick repellents and none work at all. This one actually works! It may take awhile to take effect but my dogs get 1/2tsp twice daily and I have found no ticks on them that have bitten for months

I have used this for my dogs for over 15 years. I have had very few issues with ticks and mosquitos. I prefer this to pesticide/poison applications for my dogs.

I've been using this product for more than six weeks. We are just coming into tick season here in NJ and I have pulled two ticks off my dog. One had bitten him inside his ear. Fortunately, it hadn't begun to suck blood. The other tick was behind his ear and this one had already begun to drink. I was able to dislodge this one too, but its fat grey body signified it had done its work.I was told by the salesman who sold this product that "no self-respecting insect will bite your pup. Evidently, these insects were not self-respecting because they both bit my dog. I just ordered another container of this as my first one was almost out. I'm going to return it as soon as it comes.

I have used this with great success after developing a flea infestation when I moved to Florida (never had in Chicago). Now im in NC and the ticks are bad - I've had a couple myself. But my dog has only had 2-3 since the weather got nice and the tree and grass exploded. We hike daily in the woods, so 2-3 ticks is not bad.
