If you only order a single light then it will come with no remote and only have one light setting which is just “ON”. This is not made clear in the description anywhere which I think is ridiculous. **Q: Hi ,the spec states a battery box but reviews left say it’s usb charged vie laptop** A: I bought the ones with a battery box which takes 3 AA batteries which are not supplied. There is another USB option. The battery option are fine for my purpose and really effective. Have bought 3 lots so far and am pleased with them. **Q: The remote controls supplied seem only yo turn them on. None of the ither buttons seem to work. Am i missing something?** A: Mine didn't come with a remote control only annon if switch where the batteries go hope this helps **Q: How do you open the battery compartment** A: press down on compartment where it says 'OPEN' and slide the lid in the direction of the attached wire. It slides off easily. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product bright and great for any DIY Prohect *by M***E on 29 June 2026* These Makion LED lights are absolutely brilliant. They are bright enough and the ten-meter length with one hundred bulbs is perfect. I was pleasantly surprised by how long the battery lasts, even when using cheaper battery brands. They arrived well-packaged and work flawlessly. They look awesome—highly recommend! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gives a warm, autumnal feeling *by B***R on 14 September 2026* The perfect little string of fairy lights for coiling inside a bottle (or a pumpkin!), giving a beautiful, autumnal effect. It arrived looking like the tiniest little bundle and I was momentarily convinced it wouldn't fill the bowl! But it's gorgeous and I would happily buy another. Oh, and the pumpkin is from IKEA, for all who are interested ♡ ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not bad *by A***R on 10 January 2026* I wanted USB powered fairy lights. However most/all of those have the same gadget that provides 8 lighting modes. The default being an annoying flashing mode. The desired mode must be reselected each time they are powered up. These battery powered fairy lights have no such additional electronics, other than a single resistor. ## Frequently Bought Together - Makion Led String Lights 100 LEDs Decorative Fairy Battery Powered String Lights, Copper Wire Light for Bedroom,Wedding(33ft/10m Warm White) - Jsdoin Fairy Lights, 50 LED Battery Operated String Lights Copper Wire Light for Indoor Outdoor Lighting, Bedroom, Wedding Decor, Party, Christmas, Tree Decoration(5M/16ft,Warm White) - Duracell Plus AA Batteries (12 Pack) - Alkaline 1.5V - Up To 100% Extra Life - Reliability For Everyday Devices - 0% Plastic Packaging - 10 Year Storage - LR6 MN1500 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/53779723-makion-10m-led-battery-powered-fairy-string-lights-100-leds](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/53779723-makion-10m-led-battery-powered-fairy-string-lights-100-leds) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
