Sharp and Cool
So far so good. They were easy to install and worked perfectly. The blades were sharp and easily handled my dog's thick curly poodle fur. They also stayed amazingly cool when compared to the steel blades I was replacing.

Ordered for a friend with an older Oster A5. 10 blade, 18 teeth original, and these fit. He said they were really sharp initially when cutting the dog. He pointed out that of course he was used to dull blades and that how long any blade lasts is dependent on the dirt on the dog. That might explain some disparate reviews of longevity.

Fit perfect
Work very well for my shihtzus hair glad I didn't have to buy a whole new detachable ceramic blade which would of cost like 30 dollars. just make sure you insert it on the correct side. Used on my andis #10 clip.

My clipper did not cut hair with these blade inserts.
Clipper blade cutting mechanisms donโt cut dog hair. I have been grooming dogs for decades, so I know my way around clippers and blades. These worked very poorly the first time. Think about cutting roast beef with a plastic knife. Blade wash did not help except for two seconds. The blade fit fine, and seemed better with my #10 blade, but useless with the 8 1/2 and the 4F. Disappointed with this purchase.
