UPDATE, so the water droplets I am guessing are condensation drops, there is no real leak causing a puddled pool at base. Phew! This tiny portable unit is amazing, and I would recommend for you to buy. However, it will not cool a room as would properly installed air conditioning, or a much larger cooling unit (one where you hang the tube through a window). For the price, it is a must have. Unfortunately those ridiculously high temps have past, but it still has a place in low 20's. Oh, and ice does help, but is short lived in high temps. Would like to know why please? 2 stars until I know this is more of a science thing, rather than faulty product! This is an up close fan. Kinda cools the room, but not in high temps we getting at the moment. (30 degs plus humidity). Waiting for ice to arrive, see if we can improve cooling temperatures.

Not completely silent but not super noisy. Works well for its size. Works extra well if you add ice to the top.

I didn't expect much from this for the price but it really does work! It doesn't work as well cooling down a big room but in a small space it works great. I've used it on my desk whilst working from home and as it's portable I even used it in a very hot train carriage yesterday which made the journey much more bearable!

This air cooler is just a fan. It claims to cool air, and if you put your hand right up next to it, there is some slightly cooler than warm air coming from the very top of the fan, and that's it. Yes I've read the instructions, used ice and cold water in the tank, and turned the "cooling" function up to max. Another issue is if you point the fans fins down, you end up with a puddle on your desk, as the water builds up on the fins and drips out past the drip tray catcher. Not sure why there is a chroma LED built in, doesn't add anything and it's useless. 1/5 because it is portable (as long as you have a socket) and does work as a fan, but that's it.

This worked as a weak fan unfortunately... the mist didn't do much for me. Lights are cool though.

Definitely helped me survive the random heatwaves the UK likes to throw at us! The mist feature does wonders, especially when just a breeze isn’t enough. Only thing to look out for is the water tank located at the bottom of the unit, just be careful that it doesn’t overfill as it can lead to quite a bit of a mess! The sleep timer is good when it comes to having on at night, meaning that I’m not hit by a breeze and mist as soon as I wake up.

This fan is ok but it's described as portable. In my opinion anything that has to be continually plugged in and doesn't charge is not exactly portable. It is small and light enough to carry from one USB port to the next!

Ive had this fan for a while and its great. fairly quiet (all machines will make some noise but its quiet enough to sleep through without issue) and the evaporative cooling option is great on the warmer days. Very happy with this
