I needed a DisplayPort to HDMI option since my work laptop dock only has a single HDMI out and my second monitor only has HDMI inputs. I had an old DP to HDMI cable, but it didn't support higher resolutions. Instead of buying another specialized cable, I opted for this adapter instead. It worked perfectly and I can use the full resolution of my 1440p monitor. The length is short, but works great since I'm relying on my HDMI cable to reach the monitor. The braided cable looks durable, but I don't expect to have any issues (its just sitting on my desk). Picture quality looks great, no degradation in signal strength. The only thing I wish is that I'd opted for an "Active" cable versus the "Passive" version since my monitor supports HDR but this adapter doesn't support it. That's a learning for me though as the item is clearly labeled.

Does exactly what I needed it for. I actually bought two and probably only needed the one. My computer only has 1 HDMI port for display. So I needed this to use the display port with my other HDMI monitor. But my second monitor still wasn't recognized so I bough the second adaptor. It still didn't recognize them both at the same time. I ended up having to download and install new device drivers in my graphics card and now both work just fine in the display ports using these adaptors. If I would have updated the device drivers first, I probably only needed 1 adaptor. But, oh well! They work and were not very expensive!

Exactly what I needed to connect my monitor. The picture is crystal clear with no flickering or lag at all. The cable itself feels premium with the braided jacket and the connectors are nice and snug. It’s a great, simple solution for a dual-monitor setup.

I got this because I have a monitor and a Huion Kamvas 13 original, and they could not both connect to my one-HDMI PC at the same time. I think I ordered this a year or two ago, and connected it to the drawibg tablet. Works perfectly, as far as I can tell.

It works. My computer has two ports to screens, one HDMI, on Display Port. My two screens are both LG and have one HDMI port each. The adaptor makes it work, I have both screens on now.
