Compatible with other pumps, not just Medela!
I exclusively breastfeed my baby, but I'm an over-supplier so I need to pump at least 1 or 2 times a day on top of nursing. I also have a toddler and I'm about to go back to work from maternity leave. I knew I needed a solution to easily pump in the car to save some precious time (if you have 2 under 2, you know every moment counts lol!) I had tried pumping with my hands free bra and using the regular collection bottles, and if you've tried that you also know it's not fun. You can do it, but it's a pain and there's no way to be discreet. I don't exactly want to pull up to daycare drop off half dressed. 😂 I've used Momcozy pumps before and still had some from my first breastfeeding journey, but to my dismay the replacement parts for the one I had were no longer available. It was only 2 years since I bought the pump so I was pretty shocked they discontinued that quickly.... I had considered trying to order the cups for Elvie Stride and see if they would be compatible with my Motif or SpeCtra pumps, but they are $$$ and a ton of pieces to clean. Then I came across these! I was nervous they wouldn't work, but from what I can tell you can likely hook them up to any pump. You just plug the tubing you already have into the Medela adapters, and you're good to go! I've used these with my Motif Duo & Motif Luna with no issues. I pumped 10oz with the Luna on my commute today, with no leaks. Pros: • Seem to be compatible with any pump. • Holds a good volume, I had 6oz in one cup and not even close to overflowing. • Only 3 pieces to clean. • Can use with a regular stretchy/roomy bra, you don't need a special hand free pumping bra. • From a reputable and consistent brand, so replacement parts should be easy to purchase (as long as they don't get discontinued) • Easy to pour milk from • Flat bottom so you can set cups on the counter without spilling • I'm sensitive to EMF, and this is a way to have a hands free pumping experience without Bluetooth since you can connect to whatever pump body you prefer (Most of the wearables on the market now connect to an app and have to use Bluetooth) Cons: • They aren't small -- you will have Dolly Parton boobs while wearing. Not a collection cup you could wear with nobody noticing. • There are a couple spots where small amounts of milk can get stuck - but I've had this problem with any wearable I've tried. • The plastic parts can be hard to detach for cleaning, I keep my nails short but if you have long nails I think it might be a challenge to get them open. • Only 24mm and 21mm flange sizes - most moms are smaller. I had to order 18mm adapters from Maymom but they were affordable and work perfectly with these cups. I'm a huge fan of these, I'm thankful for Medela making these collection cups as an option. I hope to see other pump manufacturers follow suit, as this is a way more affordable option than buying a whole new pump. :)

9/10 Recommeneded!
I don’t usually leave reviews, but as a first time mom with big boobs, I had to say something about this pump. I was so skeptical because most pumps don’t work for us busty girls, but this one understood the assignment. It’s super easy to use, only three parts to clean, and it’s not bulky at all. The collection cups come with 21 and 24 sizes, so no extra inserts needed. The pump does need to stay plugged in, so you’ll still be seated while using it, but my hands are free with the collection cups. I can hold my baby, play with her, or just relax while I pump. I pump six times a day and already see my supply going up. Definitely big boob approved and perfect for first time moms trying to figure it all out like me. Only thing I’ll say is be careful leaning forward because the spout isn’t covered, but other than that it’s a win for me.

love them
i’ve been using these for about 3 months now with my medela pump in style and i much prefer using the collection cups over the classic bottles. if you’re on the fence about buying these or have trouble with them there’s a couple things to note. for one, yes the seal gets a little tricky after a couple rounds through the sterilizer. i’ve found that pressing down on the bottom part that snaps while using my palms to push the cup upwards helps to ensure that the cups are properly sealed to prevent leaks. BE CAREFUL when you put these in the sterilizer and make sure the cups aren’t pushing against other items because they will warp. (what do u expect, it’s plastic lol). make sure your bra is tight enough to press the cups against your skin otherwise air will get in and you won’t get proper suction. if you hear a light whistling sound while pumping check the yellow tab and press it down everywhere. yes it takes some user effort to make sure these do what they’re supposed to but they work nonetheless. im using them while i write this review lol

Amazing for travel, almost the same output as my traditional pump parts!
I was looking for something that made pumping on the go more discreet. While it does do that by allowing me to wear this directly in my bra, I do not get quite the same output as my normal pump parts. It's certainly a better output than with my 100% wearable pumps, though. Probably only a 1-2oz difference (but ever oz counts, right?!) So these have been helpful when I need to pump on a plane or car. I connected these to my Spectra pump, and didn't need any additional connectors. When I researched this product, I saw I would need a connector, but the parts that came with this easily connected to my Spectra (I recently replaced the tubing with MomCozy tubing, which seems to be slightly "tighter" or thinner than the traditional Spectra tubing). I do love how easy these are to clean - only 3 parts - the flange part, the diaphragm, and the collector. The duckbill is basically built into the 3. Makes it easy to clean on the go compared to the traditional pump parts. Overall, good product. Just very pricey for something I only use on travel trips.

Useless collection cups
I wanted to use the hands-free collection cups on my Pump In Style but cleverly, Medela ensured that you need to buy a whole new pump and tubing for that, so reluctantly I did. Once they arrived I sanitized and pumped while going about my day only to be disappointed that it only got a fraction of the Pump In Style and regular collection cups. After using it a couple more times with minor adjustments the milk yield still have not improved. Upon investigation, I realised that the hands-free collection cups seem to allow small amounts of pressure in overtime, weakening the suction capability, thus pulling less milk. I checked them for cracks but there weren’t none. It just seems like the cups just do not make a good seal in general. I held the hands-free cups in my hands to cover any areas where I thought air might be getting in and was able to get a decent yield. However, once you get a large amount of milk in these cups, getting the milk out safely is like a military operation. Needless to say, spills ensued, and that was the last dealing that I had with these so-called hands-free collection cups. I can deal with the fact that these didn’t work properly and just get a refund. However, the fact that I had to get these in the first place when Medela could just so easily make their cups and tubing universal across all machines just seems like greed on their part. Juggling breastfeeding, working and looking after a newborn is stressful enough without this. Things like this that make me understand why some women would rather just use formula.

Simplest and best design ever!
I love these things, they’ve made such a huge difference in my life as someone who exclusively pumps 7-8 times a day. I use them with Medela tubing and a Spectra S1 pump, and when I put my pump in a little backpack I can pretty much do whatever I need to around the house, including picking up and caring for my baby and toddler. I have used regular flanges from both Spectra and Medela, PumpinPals silicone flanges, and the Legendairy Milk collection cups, and these are by far my favorite option. Simple Design: only three parts, super quick and easy to clean and assemble. I can put these together in less than 10 seconds. Effective: I don’t get the loss of suction I had with the Legendairy collection cups, these get me the same output as my regular flanges. Leakage: I can pretty much go about my day normally with these on and not worry about moving or bending. There IS a small hole in the top for pouring the milk out, and if you bend over super far (especially if you produce a lot of milk) it can leak out the top, but it’s only happened to me one time when I really bent far. Discreet: these definitely show up under your clothes, and especially if you have a large chest they will look like a separate little boob on top of your boob. But they’re a more natural shape than the Legendairy ones, and they’re definitely more discreet than regular flanges. I wouldn’t walk in the grocery store in a tight shirt wearing these, but for driving, working at a desk, or pumping while you have friends over, they’re great. And if you put on a big hoodie they’re pretty much invisible. Overall, these are amazing and I’d recommend them to anyone who pumps.

Would Not Recommend - - Uncomfortable, Little Suction, Unreliable
I purchased these because I had a medela pump-in-style with maxflow pump given to me through insurance. I would not purchase these again and I have only used them a handful of times. The first time I used them, they worked great and I loved the output I got, but they immediately leaked out of the bottom despite being closed all the way - I never had trouble with medela pumps before... but the second time I went to use these, the suction was non-existent in one cup and there was nothing else wrong with the assembly... my pump was working fine because i tried testing it and it worked for my original flanges and was connected properly. I am unsure what happened with these cups, but I did try one last time in a last ditch desperate effort because my other pumps were dirty and had the same issue with the suction. Now they are just decoration in my kitchen cabinet, collecting dust. They were also hard plastic, even with inserts, so it was difficult to get comfortable with these.

Works with Spectra pump
Works well. It is very easy to assemble, wash, and pour the milk. It works perfectly with the Spectra; there is no need for extra tubing unless you don’t want to use both outlets for double pumping. In that case, you would need a double-tubing adapter for a single outlet. The pump's power is not reduced; I get the same amount of milk as I do with the original Spectra handheld pump. As for flange sizes, it comes with two. I already had adapters for my Spectra parts, and I can use those with this set as well. One downside is that when you remove the flange, a little milk leaks out. Also, you cannot bend over, or the liquid will spill. I learned that the hard way! You can get too comfortable and end up doing other things, forgetting that you are currently pumping. Highly recommended. I do wonder if a cheaper attachment would do the same thing, though. I only bought this one because the brand is reliable, but since these are just attachments, I assume a cheaper version might do the same job. I’m not sure

Can’t recommend enough
The biggest down fall is I did not realise but MEDELA SELL THIS EXACT PRODUCT FOR HALF THE PRICE. Don’t over pay like I did!! I even contacted the seller who is not interested in helping me. These Medela pumping cups and SO good. Compared to my Momcozy and Tommee tippee wearables I get the best output and most comfortable with these. I already had a freestyle but the older pump parts. I don’t like that it comes with adaptors to attach to your tubing, sometimes if you pull on it the wrong way they can come apart easy. It would have been better to come with full replacement tubing.

Muy prácticas y fáciles de usar y lavar.
Tenía una versión anterior de sacaleches de medela (freestyle) así que solo actualice las copas, y es de lo mejor que he hecho: son prácticas, fáciles de usar, lavar y super cómodas y discretas.

Must have if you are planning on pumping with comfort
As a mom who has used the Medela Collection Cups daily, I can honestly say they made pumping significantly easier and more comfortable. The biggest advantage for me is how discreet they are. They fit easily inside regular nursing bras or innerwear, and from the outside it’s very hard to tell you’re wearing them. As someone who is naturally shy, I appreciated being able to pump around family or in public settings without feeling exposed or having bottles hanging from my chest. The hands-free design also made a noticeable difference in my daily routine. I could move around, take care of my baby, or do small tasks while pumping instead of sitting still and holding bottles. It also reduced the back and shoulder strain I used to feel during longer pumping sessions. Cleaning is straightforward and quick. My one piece of advice is to rinse or wash the cups soon after pumping. If milk dries in the small crevices, it can take a little extra effort to clean thoroughly. Since learning that, I simply rinse them right away and they stay very easy to maintain. During the day, I often empty the milk, place the cups in the fridge between sessions, and reuse them for the next pump before doing a full wash later. Overall, these collection cups have been one of the most useful breastfeeding purchases I’ve made. They are comfortable, discreet, easy to clean, and they gave me much more freedom while pumping. I genuinely recommend them to any mom looking for a more convenient and less stressful pumping experience.

Works great!
I just had my second child and wanted a hands free pump but all the other hands free pumps don’t have great suction for the cheaper ones anyways. So I decided to try out these cups as they are compatible with my Medela Freestyle Flex. The reviews I read before purchasing were mixed but it has been a game changer for me for pumping since they fit in my bra. There not completely hands free since I still have the tubing connected to the power but I wear baggy shirts anyways while pumping so the cord is hidden. Suction is great and love that there are only three parts to wash. Recommend this for anyone who has existing Medela pump that this is compatible with.
