Single level pressure switch
I use this in conjunction with an accumulator tank thinking it would reduce pump cycling but it didn't work that way . The issue is this pump has a single point pressure meaning you can't adjust the point where it cuts in and cuts out. You can adjust the pressure but the difference is always about 3 psi. Consequently, the accumulator tank doesn't offer much benefit so I purchased an additional pressure switch that does have separate cut-in/cut-out set points and now everything works as planned. I imagine it would have been difficult to incorporate this feature into this pump because of space limitations. My dedicated switch is about 1/4th the size of the whole pump and requires extra plumbing and wiring to connect. If this limitation factors into your use plan, you might save some money using a different pump without any switch and add a dedicated switch down stream. I like the pump and I learned something that might help someone else.

Question
When I connect the inlet water hose and outlet misting hose, the pump refuses to go on. When I disconnect the outlet misting hose then it goes on. Why does it refuse to boost the pressure to my misting system when both ends are connected ?

Very impressive pump (NEW DESIGN)
I CANNOT speak to durability, but I can say it's got power compared to others! This new 5-diaphragm pump could pull water from a 50-gallon tank 8 ft away from it, up 2 ft through a 40-micron sediment filter, and then push it 15-20 more ft through 2 more filters further down….wow. The older designed 3 diaphragm pumps would never be capable of completing the task, but this did it!Pros:-Built-in Circuit protection-The price is reasonable for the power. Some pumps are crazy $$$ and output less or don't have the included features, but I’ll have to see about durability.-bypass & adjustable pressure valve-5 diaphragm compared to the typical 3 (NEW DESIGN)-5.5gpm at 75psi is a lot of water flow! You might need to turn this down a bit.Cons:-Instructions aren’t good at all.-I question durability-I don’t think it’s waterproofAdditional notes:-I purchased a warranty through Amazon, just in case.-secure the pump head facing down if you mount it upright.-getting a remote control plug helps avoid burnout when not in use. Conclusion:Other reviewers said good things, but some did not. My last pump stopped pumping water, and I can say that it’s completing my task with ease for now.

Good basic pump
Nothing fancy here, but it's a heavy weight pump that speaks to considerable copper in the motor. The same pump appears to be sold under numerous brand names, and this FlowFluid branded one came well packed with several fitting adapters, a strainer, and thread tape. User manual is basic but adequate, not too much to know anyway except be careful with your own brass or iron fittings to not cross thread. It's interesting that the 5 GPM model sells for less than the 4 GPM one I ordered, but according to the garden hose flowmeter I connected inline the flow rating is realistic. Longevity is still TBD, but at this price point it's almost a no brainer recommendation....

Well made, good value.
I bought it to replace another very similar pump that I wasn’t going to install due to a small bu annoying defect. I ended up using the other one due to time constraints. This one is sold under a different brand, but it looks to be identical (and claims the same performance specs) but for the labels… probably made by the same Chinese manufacturer, and it cost $20 less than the other one.. this one’s going back, no fault of its own.
