Cressi Focus - Scuba Diving Snorkeling Mask - Optical Lenses Available (Separately Purchase)

These lenses provide an excellent off the self solution for those of us who are near-sighted. Hence the 5 stars. However, you need to fit them into the mask and there is no guidance given about how to do that. It isn't simple. You need to dismantle the frame of the mask, remove the standard flat lenses, replace them with these and then reassemble. UPDATE I have now been using this mask for a while and found it excellent in terms of fit and comfort. Low volume so it is easy to clear if any water should get in. How do you get the mask apart? I suggest you look at a post on scubaboard (search for cressi focus scubaboard). I used an old credit card rather than the prying tool described on scubaboard. I also found it easier to slide the card along the top edge of the lens frame rather than around the nose side as described. I found it difficult to refit the lens frames over the new lenses. One of them just didn't want to go back. After a lot of perseverance and some sore fingers it finally popped into place. If I was to rate the fitting process it would be just 1 star.

I purchased this mask for my husband as I already had the same one and was so pleased with it. It’s a great fit and doesn’t let in any water unlike some I’ve used before. Also very good value for money and a quality mask which has been used a number of times.

They are a good mask but doesn’t fit my face perfect so they allow water in slowly.

Forgive the wobbly one second video, I was trying to show the mirror effect of the lenses. Suffice to say it’s great - but I couldn’t capture it effectively either on a long or a short video. So if you want to look cool with mirrored lenses this is the mask for you. The fit is excellent bearing in mind I wear a size 59 hat with a large round face. It feels as it it will be a little small, but it seals effectively tested in the bath. My current seawater temperature is 8.5°C so I’m not going for a swim in that. This mask will come out in the warmer weather. It’s a Cressi, so it’s going to be good. And it is; I can’t hesitate to recommend it for the softness of the moulding at it fits to your face and the security of the straps as they fit your head and give a snug and Sucre fit whilst being very very comfortable.

No obvious way to order these to requirement. So I might need -1 lenses - how do I specify? No opportunity to do so.

I've been diving and snorkelling for years and Cressi have always been my main go to brand for equipment especially their masks as I find they are very well made and fit really well and this Focus mask is no exception. The Mask comes in it's own protective hard plastic box which is something I always like to keep my masks in and one reason why I prefer to get masks separately to a snorkel set as the sets don't usually provide this protection. The silicone the mask is made from is excellent and fits well around your face once you have the straps adjusted correctly and is comfortable to wear for long periods whether diving or snorkelling. I haven't had the chance to use this during any open water dives yet as my next trip is in a couple of months, however I have used it many times during pool dives in my local club and I've been really pleased with the way it's performed. The field of view from the large lenses is excellent, although not quite as good as the F1 Mask I have which is frameless and doesn't have the division down the middle, but it's still excellent and gives great visibility. If you need to purge any water it's as easy as ever and after doing so the mask seals well around the face again. I've added one of Cressi's Neoprene Strap covers to make it easier for taking on and off and they complement each other and work well. Overall I really like this new mask from Cressi and the price point is about right when compared to other makes with this quality. I can't wait to use this on my next trip and highly recommend it.

Since 2009 Cressi is my favorite brand. This dive mask has a good quality and fit well on my 12y daughter’s face 100%. But unfortunately when I use it, it looks fit well on my face but when I do equalization there is small amount of water come in. So I’m going to try Pano 4 it may fit well for me 👍
