Clearly Visible Across the Room
I ordered the 10.1-inch Digital Alarm Clock with Date and Day of Week to allow me to see the time from across the room. It is advertised for Dementia Seniors, and I guess in retirement, I am becoming grateful for its multiple alarms and pill reminders. I now need to take various pills throughout the day and can lose track of the time. The remote control is useful. Pressing the OK button makes the clock announce the time. I wish that it were more substantial. First, a senior with dementia can lose it. Second, its buttons are hard to press.I have the display set with digits the way I want it. To change it to one of its other four displays, hold down the OK button for a second. While the clock is perfect for me, I can't figure out how to set up the help button on the remote, one of its advertised features.I wish it had a feature to automatically set the clock via GPS, but I would not pay more for this feature.

Wonderful for elderly people, not just dementia patients
This is for my elderly mother who lives in her home alone. I love how easy it is to read the clock from a distance.I especially like how it lets you know the time of day it is. Morning, afternoon and evening. She tends to sleep off and on throughout the days and nights. A few times she took her meds at 6pm thinking it was 6am!It was very easy to set up for her!

Simple but functional
Bought this for my elderly mother to help her orient herself when she wakes in the night. It’s perfect! The display is not huge but readable from across the room. The dimming feature is nice, providing a little ambient light but not too bright. Set up was easy and intuitive. I’m ordering another one for her living room.

Great for the elderly's independence
This clock really helps elderly know what time (AM/PM) of the day it is with the morning, evening, etc as well as pictures of a sun or moon. Also, the date and day displayed is very helpful at times. We have one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom. No more staring at the clock or calendar and trying to make sense of it. Best purchase ever.

Best clock for Elderly!
Bought for my dad who is in a nursing home. He was having trouble distinguishing between night and day. He loves this clock! He has trouble with his vision as well but can read this clock fine We hung it on the wall so he can see it from his bed. It has many cool features like alarms and pill reminders too that he can’t use. Now I want one!

Great For Seniors and Young Kids too
It's like having a personal day, date, time live "calendar" that you never have to flip a page! I just look up and then I know my place in time and date. I'm old. I sometimes don't know Tues from Thursday. Now I'm darn sure!

Easy to use and to see.
This was great! I bought it for a friend who is beginning to have macular degeneration. It is big and bright and has all the important information on display. I like the remote that came with it. It makes it easier for them to operate/set in other words not tiny buttons they cannot see. The alarm features are great. It has multiple alarms you can set throughout the day for taking supplements, activities, appointments etc. I can see this being very useful for those with some mental decline. My friend was constantly asking me what time it was, what day it was and this was very helpful in helping her state of orientation. So highly recommended for the elderly or those with visual difficulties. But not just limited to that. It would be a great gift idea for anyone with kids, families easy to use and easy to see. Great gift for anyone.

Great Digital Clock!
The media could not be loaded. ****UPDATE**** I did end up getting a second clock (same size). I am so glad I did. I noticed that the newer clock has an additional sleep feature, one that the previous clock shown in the video does not have. Not having a sleep feature on the previous clock was not a deal breaker, but it was certainly a nice surprise to have it on the newer clock! Still would highly recommend this clock! ****I’ve had this clock for a few months now, and I love it! It has so many features, and it is easy to set up. Here is a list of why I like this clock:#1: The remote. If you want to hang the clock on the wall, you don’t have to take it down to adjust any of the features via the buttons on the back of the clock.#2: The five different display settings. You can adjust these by pressing the OK button on the remote for two seconds each time you want to change the format. The fonts are pretty big and are easy to see. The less information on the clock display, the bigger the fonts appear (see video). And if you still can’t see the display, you can press the OK button on the remote once and it will say the time and day of the week.#3: There are quite a few alarm settings on this clock. There are three pill alarms in which you can set the time and then turn the alarm on and off. There are five regular alarms which you can set to go off only once, every day, Monday through Friday, or weekends.#4: Of course there is a volume adjustment. I have mine set on six, which is loud enough for me to hear and wake me up out of a sound sleep. Level eight is quite loud for me. The settings go up to 10 which I have not tried, but I think it’s probably loud enough to wake the dead. 💀#5: There is an auto dimming feature which you can set to low, mid or off. The display is brightest when it is turned off. If you put this in your bedroom to use as an alarm clock, you can set it to low auto dimming so the light doesn’t disturb you when you sleep.#6: There’s a “push for help” button on the remote. I’m not sure how helpful that will be unless you carry this remote with you everywhere in your house, but it is a nice feature if you can use it.There are a few minor drawbacks:#1: Since I purchased a smaller clock, it is harder to adjust the features via the remote from further away because the menu display is small. This is not an issue for me, but it may be for others. If it is an issue for you, I would buy the larger clock.#2: The color mode refers to the fonts on the display. There are only two color options: white or yellow. I prefer the white, since it makes it easier to see; however, I would have liked it if they provided more color options. 😁I am thinking about buying the larger clock to put in my living room and keep this smaller clock in my bedroom as an alarm clock. The alarm doesn’t beep; it actually plays a musical tune. All in all, this is a great little clock to have for any age, and not just for us seniors!
