MinnKota C2 30lb - The addition of this rudder greatly improved my ability to turn sharply while going forward. It's worth the money and the 5 stars. Be aware, adding this rudder to my trolling motor caused a mild vibration when running full speed (2.75mph), but this isn't even an annoyance considering the steering benefit of the rudder, just worth mentioning. I can easily steer while riding a current without even turning the troller on. To track the boat now only requires microscopic adjustments to the stick.

I put this rudder blade on a Minn Kota Endura electric trolling motor that I use on a 12 foot roto-mold polyethylene fishing boat in shallow water. First time out the rudder did a make an improved difference with steering the boat to travel in a straight line. The rudder is all metal and it tightly attached to the shaft of the motor with metal clamps and stainless bolts with nylon insert nuts.UPDATE: I have this product for a year and it has always worked fine for me. I wish I would have bought one years ago.

better than I imagined !its a big hefty piece of metal ready to mount on a trolling motornoticed a huge improvement on my pelican bayou 160 scanoe. more control of the vessel at all speeds. very nice.huge difference in navigating, turning, way more stability overall. better response from the motor.does a good job at keeping the boat straight and keeping a path.Might buy another as I'm rebuilding another trolling motor.very nice rudder

Maybe I got a bum one, but it simply wasn't straight. The fin was offset from the collars, which couldn't be corrected.
