Way better than the overpriced beasy board which doesn’t work very well at all. A wood board can’t even compete being so primitive and crude. This board isn’t perfect, but it works better than the other two and way better designed and functions way better. The board doesn’t move and slide when transferring either, it stays put due to the design underneath. Not to mention $147 is more reasonable than the beasy priced at over $200. BTW: people complain flex with this board. Maybe they aren’t using it right, not suppose to have large gaps and this isn’t a large board to begin with. I’m 200lbs and I have no issues with it.

This is an excellent product that makes transfers so much easier! I had lost a lot of weight, and as I became paraplegic, needed a transfer board that wasn’t hard on my “skin on bone” butt. This was the answer! I was fearing transfers with wooden boards- now I’m not. Also, a healthcare facility I use absolutely fell in love with it and ordered some for their facility. Five stars, love it.

I'm not sure what the negative reviews are here. The product actually works very well, and the person's weight does not appear to be an issue. The only thing is if a person is transferring without help, the product is a little bit difficult to pull out from underneath the person after the transfer. I think it will be fairly easy to come up with a slight modification to make it easier.

I couldn't find anything except this, that provided me the ease of use, that the "Glideboard" provides ! Easy to use, just like the video that they have on their video.. it makes my life so much easier !

We hoped to make transfers easier for our family member. Weighing under 200 pounds he couldn’t even glide on the board. This is meant for very small people. Disappointed

Have used it 4 times in 2 days and can get from wheelchair into car with just a little help from my wife. I can't stand at all and this slide board helped BIG TIME. Oh, made in UK not China.

The glide board flexs and them doesn't glide if distance is more than inches. I would think it would be a good board for a child or small person but I would not recommend it if you are 140 lbs or more What I ended up doing was jusr cutting off 10 inches of a contractor trash bag and using that to glide on the wood board we already have. That was pennies and worked better.

This product is for thinner disabled people who have no skin hanging over the gliding board. For many larger people the effort to slide means they must lift themselves up while trying to slide as the sliding seat is just too small and gets stuck and will not move. It is a good idea but the weight should be lowered in the description to suit like children or smaller people with smaller rears. We wanted it to work. It needs to be longer overall too.

Thease boards are excellent does exactly what it says.really amazing. Really recommend

Excellent Product

Absolute game changer for elderly wheelchair user to transfer in and out of car. Without good arm strength still needs full assistance to use, but it means no dangerous lifting. Make sure wheelchair sides/arms are removable and that the chair doesn't have self propelling wheels that are above the height of the seat. Dad only weighs about 10stone, not sure how easy to use it would be for a larger person.

Functions very well.( 45 years a paraplegic)
