Fantastic Advent Calendar
This game is amazing! This was our first experience with a board game style escape room. We've done the in-person escape rooms and enjoy them a lot so we thought we would give this a try. The fact that it is an advent calendar is so fun! What a unique concept (instead of food, candy, or toys - there is a puzzle to solve everyday). The puzzles are incredibly clever and perfect for adults and/or older kids. I am so impressed by how creative the designers of this calendar are. This is no simple "fill in the riddle" activity...it is interactive, hands-on, and challenging. It was thoroughly enjoyed and I hope this company continues to make these types of advent calendars so I can purchase them for years to come. Hopefully it will be a new tradition!

Very Enjoyable Advent Game
We always do Advent Calendars for the kids. Usually these are Lego calendars, but my 13 year old wanted something different this year. Winter this “breakout” calendar. At first, he was hesitant. It was different to have to think and work through clues instead of just getting a Lego to put together. So this became a nightly thing for his dad and him to work on together. It was fun to hear them talking through their thoughts about n the clues and seeing their excitement when they figured things outI was very impressed with how well this is thought out. It was high-quality and a fun evening activity. We will definitely be doing another one next year.

Amazing Advent Calendar
This advent calendar is well worth the price. There are 24 different doors and each one has a different little puzzle to solve. If you are familiar with the Exit escape room games you will know how to move through the rooms, but they are easy enough to pick up even if you've never done an escape room before. The puzzles range from very easy to a little tricky, nothing too hard but most always fun. This is the second Exit advent calendar my friends and I have done. They were both so much fun and the puzzles varied. It was surprising how different all the puzzle mechanics are. You are always looking for three numbers to move to the next door but they really are creative with how you get to them.Seriously they are so much fun to do. They are one and done as you have to destroy some things as you go and the puzzles aren't redoable. That may sound like a negative but usually the destroying reveals something hidden in the box and it is so exciting and awesome.

Very engaging, not too easy but not color blind friendly
I purchased this advent calendar for my non-sweets loving/low maintenance husband. I was excited that he would enjoy doing it while the rest of us opened our chocolates and beauty supplies. Anyways, it’s great fun and definitely not too easy. Some of the riddles take a little time which is great in my book. My only complaints are that our calendar arrived with one of the doors pushed open - coincidentally it was a door that needed to be opened in a certain way so we kind of had to back track (shipping company’s fault I’m sure) and that the game is not color blind friendly at all. There have been whole clues I’ve needed to do for him since they rely entirely on using colors. It would be very nice if colors had a standardized subtle pattern in them to help those afflicted with the color blind gene. OR, just know that if you’re going to give it to a color blind man, he’s going to ask you for help 😝

Couple in our 30s enjoyed immensely!
I was a bit skeptical but I can’t express enough how much fun we had with this advent calendar. my partner and I are in our 30s and have done many kinds of mystery/escape games together, so I was worried it would be too easy, but some of the puzzles genuinely stumped us for a bit (but not so long as to get frustrating)! puzzles are simple but clever, and impressively, they manage to be fresh every single day. there are so many neat and novel little twists that we really were tickled by. there are a fair number of physical elements—it’s more than just puzzles on paper, which I was also a little worried about before I bought it. there’s a detailed hint book if you get stuck, but we only had to use it once and it was because we’d put something together incorrectly.in my opinion, older kids would definitely be able to participate and enjoy the puzzles. I wouldn’t plan to do it with more than 2 active puzzlers though because some of the parts/images are small so it can be difficult to look at together, and though the puzzles can be challenging, they’re also quick. (they’re designed to be done every night before bed of course, so that tracks—we tended to save them up and do 3-4 in a row though.) storyline is a little corny, and you truly couldn’t use the game more than once, so don’t bank on passing it along to someone else next year. but otherwise it is WELL worth the money. I’ll probably buy anything else these folks make.

Best advent calendar I have ever bought
My teen has outgrown advent calendars so I was hunting for something he would enjoy this year and saw this one. We are only half way through and it has been amazing. It gives a little family game time every night no matter what else is going on and how busy we are. The kids have enjoyed competing and working together to figure out clues. The excitement, even in my teen, when we figure it out has been a joy for me to share with them. Greatest holiday gift I got for the family. I have never done one of these type puzzles before so I am speaking from a novice perspective but some of the puzzles have been very clever and some, for us, required clues because we could not spend too much time on it every night, but I am impressed by the thought that went into it. And I really like the little bit every day pace. That said I bought another of the advent calendar puzzles for next year and a variety of their regular puzzles for the family to try out and do together because we are loving this one so much.
