These are excellent dummy security cameras and great value for money. They’re very well made, look like the real deal and the fact they have a solar panel is a real added bonus. They’re very easy to install and I’d highly recommend them.

Bought as a deterant. Looks tge part. It's been up a few weeks now and the led is still flashing. It would look more authentic if it was made of metal, but at the price, you can't really mean about it. I'd recommend it.

Very good indeed it looks the part and the discreet solar panel keeps it looking active 24 hrs a day.. I bought it to deter wilful dog fouling on a new front lawn outside my home and it seems to be working! No more mess to clear up 😁

Looks the part. Plus the flashing red LED adds to it’s deterance value. The warning sticker is a good size. No instructions. But the box said two AAA batteries & the illustration implied that they needed to fit inside the rear cover. The camera I received needed two AA batteries that fitted into a compartment under the shroud that carries the solar panel. I used two rechargeable batteries & the LED works 24 hrs. I did not check the solar panel output before installation. The LED stopped flashing after just over six months. Batteries had gone flat. Now no charging from the panel. Batteries recharged & refitted.

Whilst the product might have provided some visual deterrent this is largely due to the flashing red light which has failed after only ten months. On balance not worth buying!

Does the job. Looks authentic, red flashing light makes it look like it's working. Easy to install. Happy with this purchase. People have assumed it's the real thing.

The unit is of good construction. The led flashes well when powered by the PV panel. The batteries should be AA type, rechargeable. I however had some 17micro F.Super capacitors 5,5 volt. I connected two in parallel and connected them into the flashing LED and PV circuit. The Super caps will out last the Dummy camera and take any ex/charge the PV puts out. So far, this being low light time of the year the S/caps are powering the LED all night. I am thinking the PV might over charge the S/cap come Summer But what the hay! they only cost £2.00. Plus the S/caps discharge completely and the led continues to flash even at low voltages.
