Not firm
These did not work well for me. They were not firm enough and broke into pieces when I took them off.

Comfy
This thing is a life saver especially if we have to wear fajas 23 hours a day. It helps with swelling and I just loved that it protected my skin from metal clips from the faja.

It's fine, but it's way too expensive for what it is
The media could not be loaded. There's not a lot to say about this foam. It's the springy, spongy, small cell black foam that you've probably encountered before as padding in a case of some kind or even as packaging material. It's pretty much identical to the black foam used in disposable arts and crafts foam brushes, and as far as I can tell, it's polyurethane foam just like those are. That brings me to price: this is four half inch sheets of foam at 8x11" size, so the same as a single piece of 32x11" foam, and it's sold for $25. A half sheet of 0.5" thick poly foam from a. foam supplier is usually around 82x36" and goes for around $7 or less, and what you're getting here is less than a seventh of that. Quick math will tell you that a seventh of $7 is... you guessed it, a single dollar.I don't know about you, but to me a a markup of 25 times more than a direct-to-consumer foam supplier's price seems a tad bit on the egregious side, and when it's done in a medical context it strikes me as almost predatory.

Essential post surgery item- BUY IT!
I had a DIEP procedure and abdominal hernia repair which meant a very gnarly scar around my abdomen and none of the compression pads or "boards" were wide enough. The binder I had to wear for 10 weeks hurt against my incisions, even with a layer of clothing between it and my skin.I wore 3 sheets of this foam for 10 weeks and the results are amazing. My surgeon was pleased and so was I. You have to replace the sheets every week depending on how sweaty you get or if you have any open wounds but it is worth every penny. This foam. It is amazing. it evenly distributes the compression over your areas where it's needed, and wearing 3 sheets of it under the binder allowed me to keep very firm compression on my areas that needed it around the clock. I would not have been able to get through the compression phase without this foam and I am so grateful for it.The Impresa brand is made in the US and had no funky odors unlike the cheaper ones I tried from other sellers. I recommend.
