So far I'll give it a 5 5tar i just put it on and it wasn't bad at all.most people probably build it and then put it on there truck if you have someone to help you lift it on to your truck that's great.but I was installing it all by myself so what I did I mounted it piece by piece right on the truck and everything was good and I didn't half to lift it up on to the truck.

Fantastic experience! Rack arrived earlier than scheduled, all parts and hardware very carefully packed, easy to follow instructions for assembly and installation. I assembled in my living room and had a friend help me mount it to the truck. I left the bolts on the crossbars loose enough to allow for adjustment when I mounted it. The rack fits perfectly and looks fantastic. It is sturdy and will serve my purposes well. I highly recommend it.

After looking for an overland rack for my 2001 Tacoma and being frustrated because Amazon showed nothing would fit my model truck. I started looking at ones that were adjustable width and length . I hesitated at first because it said this wouldn’t fit my truck but after looking several times at the dimensions, it was within my trucks measurements and I took a chance. I’m so happy I purchased this rack! I had to reverse the brackets with the welded bolts that secure it to the truck bed because of the angle, but it locked down securely and fit the lines of the truck perfectly! If you have a1st Gen Tacoma, with a little patience it will fit!! It’s solid , made my truck look nicer and newer and I would absolutely buy again!
