Works well for people who train a lot.
I like the product. I cycle it Sunday - Thursday. I found some instructions online for cycling the product. I'm unsure if it should be 4 weeks on - 2 weeks off but I think a recovery supplement is okay to cycle 5 days a week.

works better than others I have tried
Overall think this works well. It really is not easy to tell how well this works if you are not doing all the other things you need to do in order to get quality sleep and recover. That being said I like the price better on this one then some others I have used and like the melatonin is a little higher than in some others I have had. Taste is ok but that's more preference than quality will probably try a different flavor next time round.

Very solid sleep supplement.
I wish I could give this a 4.5 star review. The only reason I did not give it a 5-star review is the difficult clean up. 30 minutes after taking this I'm ready to sleep so I sometimes end up leaving the cup on the nightstand and in the morning it turns to a black tarry consistency. Hope that's not what it does in my stomach. So... For the good side....First of all, I love that this contains Zinc and Magnesium ASPARTATE (ZMA). Sadly the research (1)does not support the claim that ZMA increases free testosterone or training adaptation but, subjectively, I feel that I sleep better when I take it and sleep = recovery, lower cortisol and increase HGH. So even before purchasing Fade Out I took ZMA along with Melatonin which has data but, still a bit controversial as to efficacy. Again, it works for me so I continue to take it.I like that it doesn't go overboard with the B vitamins which is a very common in the supplement industry. 1 gram of GABA for sleep is great, I personally take 3g preworkout and 1g at bedtime. GABA has been shown in smaller studies to reduce sleep latency and subjective stress levels. (2). An additional (potential) benefit of GABA is that is has been shown to increase HGH levels in higher doses (3-5g) which is important for recovery but the actual implication of muscle hypertrophy/recovery is not there yet. (3).Most folks are pretty familiar with L-Arginine. Most use it for its vasodilatory properties and its training effect on RPE. Another interesting aspect is that it also potentiates GABA which goes in tandem with the 1 g of Gaba in the mix.Not sure how I feel about the mucuna pruriens (L-Dopa 15%). Never used it before and haven't researched it much.I've heard phenylalanine used for depression/mood disorders. Not sure how well it works for sleep.L-Ornithine- https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4055948/L-Theanine is great. I use it every day. Typically take it with coffee in the morning but, also have used it before bed as a sleep aid. It helps when sleep is disrupted from 24 hours shifts. (5)Long story short this is a good sleep aid. I try not to use it every night because I feel like sleep aids become a cruth to falling asleep. But 2-3 times a week I use this and have had wonderful results. I mainly use it on days I have a heavy workout and needing recovery. There is a good amount of research to back the ingredients with the verdict inconclusive on some others. At the end of the day I take research and my own subjective experience and this has checked both boxes. I highly recommend. One last thing, it is not the greatest tasting beverage but, I wouldn't say its bad by any means. I went with grape. Then again, I wan't buying it for a tasty beverage. I wanted a good nights sleep.(1) https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2129161/(2) https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6031986/(3) https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18091016/(4)https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/9219930/#:~:text=These%20findings%20suggest%20that%20L,arginine%20inhibits%20a%20GABA%20transporter.(5)https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6836118/

Faded away
Hey how’s it going today ? Well for starters, I will say this , I do enjoy & use Redcon 1 products. However, this particular product is something that used to be great , but now it’s the furthest thing from that. When it originally came out ( original formula) it was a HUGE HIT with me. Just flat out awesome, however it was due to one specific ingredient that was in it that made it work. What’s the the ingredient you ask, phenibut is the culprit. It definitely works, but comes with a heavy price to pay. It will definitely cause withdrawal once you stop taking it & that can impact sleep making it very irritating. So Redcon 1 reformulated Fade Out by removing phenibut & in theory shouldn’t have had a major impact, but for some reason whatever they did with the product it does everything but put you to sleep. I remember when I tried the new formula not realizing they changed it & noticed right away I did not experience what I was used to. So I searched for other sleep aide supplement s & found a few winners. However recently I wanted to change things up & figured it’s been a few years since my disappointment with fade out & I wanted to give it another chance. Well I did & sadly/angrily I was severely disappointed once again. I did not feel sleepy or even go under while taking it. Waking up was even worse, feeling the effects of lack of sleep just made me irritated & flat out angry. I know everyone reacts differently to supplements & unfortunately my reaction to this was not a pleasant one. I love their other products ( Total War, Big Noise, Tango, MRE, Boomstick, Breach, Grunt, etc..) but Fade Out is not one of them ( anymore) & I can’t really recommend it to people as far as sleep aide supplements go.

New Formula is a big step in the wrong direction.
Longtime user of fade out, probably my 4th-5th tub. The original formula didn't taste amazing, but this straight up smells and tastes like stomach acid reflex. Old formula tastes worlds better than this. It also doest dissolve worth a f***, something I never had an issue with the old formula.Sleep quality is about the same, if not a little worse. I dont know if thats from not dissolving completely or the formula change. I tried using excess water and mixing the hell out of it and I still get a good amount of granules at the bottom of my bottle. The old formula needed 0 change it had amazing reviews and accomplished its job very well. Looks like this change was made to facilitate some cost cutting. For how expensive this stuff still is, Im going to switch back to ZMatrix from EVL. just my .02

Helps me fall asleep and stay asleep
I usually don't take a full scoop and I sleep through the night. I usually take it without mixing it in water, only a swig to wash it down...the taste is obviously not the greatest like most people say. I do notice a pins and needles or tingling sensation like I get from beta alanine. I'm not sure what that's caused by. Overall, I take it when I need to and it definitely does the job.

Always knocks me out
Best otc sleep aid. Deep sleep. Muscles actually feel relaxed taking it typically my neck and shoulders don't relax for a long while before I fall asleep. Taking this I can literally feel the tension release cuz it definitely makes you tired and woozy.
