Although the locomotive sports a really nice paint scheme and is super high quality, very happy with it, it was not what I ordered. I was sent the regular, battery operated version of the locomotive instead of the transforming one. Not a huge issue but still pretty nice piece to have.

I knew this wasn't a transformers but i wanted to expand my collection with similar collectibles. Im an evangelion fan so this looked promising. The build quality is great. It feels sturdy, this will take a beating from a kid and not break. The design looks cool, but it comes together/takes apart rather than transforms. Not a deal breaker, but the panels on the legs spin freely and get in the way when trying to pose the figure. My disappointment is the fact the middle car doesn't do anything other than store a small knife and a helmet. It seems like the 2 rifles could fit if only a little more planning went into the engineering. Perhaps smaller size rifles, a larger cab, or make them fold?That middle cart had potential. It could had been wings that snapped on the back so every part is used. Or it could had served as a utility trunk for all the gear in train mode, and stored the wheels in robot mode. Instead the middle car looks like a wheeled lego with an empty shell.
