Update: I'm back from my trip so I'll provide some updates, having actually used the bag.The zippers are heavy duty and not easy to open/close with one hand. Which can be kind of inconvenient; the zipper on the tiny pocket on the front actually hurt my hand trying to dig down into the pocket to find what I needed. And my hands are pretty small. However, the zippers make a fairly noticeable noise when zipped or unzipped, which came in handy when a pickpocket tried to get into my bag while I was wearing it on my back. (I didn't have anything valuable in the bag). If I had rememembered to reattach the locking caribiner I'd purchased to secure the zippers, he would never have gotten into it at all.I purchased two, dual locking S-Biner clips to secure the leather zipper pulls to the carry handle at the top of the bag. One clip secured the zipper on the rear pocket; the other secured the two main zippers on the front. I didn't worry about the tiny front pocket; all I had in there was lip balm and hand sanitizer. Yes, the clips made it more difficult to get into the bag, but they deterred thieves.The interior fabric is too dark. It needs to be a light color. Hard to find things even in daylight. I resorted to using my phone's flashlight. Sometimes I would have to unload the entire compartment to find what I needed.Interior compartments are an awkward size/shape due to the shape of the bag. It was difficult to organize items and find them when I needed them.The exterior fabric is heavy and sturdy, but has zero "give". Even without overstuffing the bag, it was hard to get into the compartments to find what I needed. It was aggravating especially if I was in a hurry. But again, it would also make it harder for a thief to get into it quickly.My portable keyboard and my Kindle Paperwhite both fit snugly into the interior slip pocket in the main compartment.I elected to wear the bag crossbody for this trip. The strap is wide and comfortable either way.The exterior bottle holder worked well.Overall, I would use this bag again to carry a few small items for a day hike or trip to the zoo, but I won't use it again for major travel where I'd need to carry multiple items with me at all times.------Original review:I've ordered and sent back several sling backpacks, trying to find something for an upcoming trip to Greece. This one ticks pretty much all the boxes. It arrived with NO mold and NO funky smell as described in other recent reviews. In fact the seller messaged me to let them know if I found any mold, so they are trying hard to monitor the problem.The ONLY thing I could complain about, is that in the demonstration video included in this listing, they show a zip pocket inside the main pocket (about 32 seconds into the video). There isn't one with the bag I received; but it's not a big enough deal to me to return it. There is a slip pocket plenty big enough for an ereader or tablet. (water bottle for size reference)The anti-theft pocket on the back of tha bag is big - pretty much the size of the bag (see photos with tape measure), so I don't think I'll miss that missing internal zip pocket. I wish the zipper opening was a little bit bigger.The watter bottle in my photos is a standard 16.9 oz grocery store bottle. As you can see the designated pocket is plenty deep and I thinki it could fit a slightly larger circumference bottle. The umbrella in my photos is 6" long; if you use that pocket for a mini umbrella, don't push it too deep or you may have trouble getting it out!My small Anker power bank (about 4 inches long, shown in photo) fits in a small inside slip pocket. My bigger one fits as well. I plugged in the wiring and it does charge my phone.The small zip pocket on the very front is a bit awkward to get into; I'll probably store my phone's power cord in there, and other small items I don't need frequently.I've read a lot of varying reviews about the straps (too long,, too short). I'm 5'3" with small, narrow shoulders and 38 chest measurment, and the straps are a good length for me. They're easy to adjust quickly. A much taller/more robust person may find the straps too short but you don't know until you try.My only concern with the straps is the clip on the ends; they would be very easy for a thief to quickly undo. Therefore I plan to add locking carabiners.The trekking poles shown in my photos fold down to 13" each. As you can see ithey fit inside the main pocket with room to spare.Thanks to the bottom of the bag's subtantial "footprint" it will stand up on its own. The fabric is substantial and the bag seems well made; I'll update this review after my trip. The bag is NOT water resistant, so if you're carrying anything that shouldn't get wet, place it in a zip lock bag. I may try spraying the bag with Scotch Guard.The color is a light red, like red bricks that have faded in the sun. The bag is lightweight but I wouldn't call it feather light like a nylon bag. I think once you have it loaded and on you won't really notice.Hope you found this review helpful.

I use this as my diaper bag and everyday purse, it's amazing, I can fit full size wipes, diapers for a toddler, snacks and drinks for toddler, plus holder for my drink, it's good thick canvas type material. Iv had it several months now of decently heavy use, including hiking in Colorado mountains, and no signs of wear at all!

Excellent material and very comfortable, have received many compliments. Many pockets that you may forget where everything is, Lol!!! I selected the dark gray which it goes with everything and color is resistant to dirt or less noticeable than the light grey.

Bought it for its wearable versatility but surprised at its holding capacity. It has another zipper pouch on the backside I wasn't aware of perfect to hold your wallet free from wandering hands!! Nice looking too. Not cheap.looking at all. Obviously I didn't view everything because I was pleasantly surprised to see a spot for a water bottle. Happy with my purchase.

This bag is very well-made. The colors are beautiful. The pattern is beautiful. I like it so much that I may get another one in a different color!

The plastic wire is coming out of the material from the k side of the middle pocket. I’ve been gone on vacation and barely had a chance to get my purse put in order since the trip. I’m requesting a exchange.

Made a last minute decision to purchase this bag for an upcoming trip to Europe. Best decision ever. This bag has it all.* Cross body for safety with inside pockets so no easy access for pick pocketers* Back pack option for bike rides* USB for easy charging with my battery pack and phone* Surprising amount of room for a couple water bottles and small purchasesIt's a sturdy quality bag so it looks nice too. Perfect.

We used this on our trip to Manhattan. It worked perfect. Tons of pockets, all zippered and separate pockets of different sizes . We carried water bottles, snacks, phones, etc for two people in this. It’s sturdy and comfortable.I appreciate the zippered pocket against your back to store keys and ID.I’m so glad I got this. It’s not huge like a regular backpack. Even with all our stuff in it, it was still light weight.This is well made. At no point did I question the quality or have any issues. It’s the right size to be big enough for all your things, but small enough to carry comfortably for extended hours.I have neck issues that bother me when carrying regular backpacks or if there’s too much weight in the bottom. I was comfortable the entire time. We walked 10 miles a day with alot of standing as well. The weight is distributed nicely.I’m 5’6 and had the straps adjusted to almost the shortest length. There’s tabs to tuck the excess length into so it’s not in your way. It looks nice too.Definitely a great buy!
