Very impressed.
These are a must buy for anyone considering a new sound system. I have only had them 10 minutes and i love them so much! Even on the quietest setting the sound quality is superb. After a few weeks i think i will have some very angry neighbors, as i will be listening to them at extreme volumes. For anyone wondering the 'euro to uk adaptor IS supplied with the product, also the customer service line was very helpful in answering my queries.i am one very happy customer!

Excellent sound quality with a brilliant bass system. Love the looks and how the speakers are not too large but still produce good sound. All round excellent product

Mixed review
The Philips speaker as shown above has very good sound quality for the price, the speakers stay clear at the highest volumes along with the bass providing that it's on the right surface, however, I had to send my first set back after one of the 2 smaller speakers popped after less than a month of use, they then sent me a new set but with a euro plug so I had to go and get my own adapter for it (I believe they provide an adapter for them now) this was around February of last year, and again I am now searching for a new speaker system due to these breaking on me tonight, the on button at the back has snapped so they are completely broken, in my opinion this is not acceptable, overall out of 10 6/10 sound quality for the price 8/10 durability would have to be 3/10

Great speakers - sound like more expensive and look it too. Minus one star for minor build quality issue.
I have owned these speakers for give or take 2 years now and they still have really good clarity. For the price, the sound quality and design get 5 stars, no doubt. They look and sound like much pricier speakers. I also like that you can adjust the level of bass on the sub woofer. They are very versatile and really make everything sound great. High quality audio files sound simply great, and they do a good enough job at making poor quality files sound good at well. And this can be said no matter what the volume - that said, louder is better, as they do the best job of showcasing and isolating all the layers of your music this way. That said, you definitely don't have to have them turned too high to appreciate them. The ONLY reason why I have taken off 1 star - again, not for sound quality - is that the build quality on the plug on mine is poor - you plug the wire into a plug head and you have to fiddle with it for it to stay put, and even a tiny knock could mean it won't work - it has to be in the exact right place for it to not turn off. I simply moved the plug on an extension cable onto the back of my desk so my feet couldn't hit it, and that has fixed the problem. Maybe this is just with my unit, yet it might be a hassle. But they're cheap, relatively to other speakers and given their sound quality, it shouldn't put you off.

They were worth £30.
Bought some of these a few years ago for around £30-£40. They broke (as did my friend's who also had some), and now they are £70?Nice speakers, but they don't last too long. They were worth £30.
