Quality build
This has done wonders for my swim training! Being able to swim at home with out going to the y and never having to turn around and kick off are huge. It’s a quality product that does what it is marketed to do.

it’s a great asset for swimmers in training pool.
. However, same sets of cost hundred dollars less in Europe, this is a disappointment !

Swim Tether with Rod & Mount
PROs1. Swim tether to mount on spa or pool2. Materials are durable and higher quality than cheaper tether made with plastic.3. Carbineers are Aluminum, so won't rust in water but are very sturdy yet light.CONs1. Rod is only 2 feet, requires to be mounted professionally into pool deck.2. VERY pricey for a swim tether with a Rod.3. Longest cord is 8 feet. It needs another longer cord so you're not too close to the side of the pool.4. It needs a separate kit where you don't want a short ROD to mount.5. If you don't need a rod, there are cheaper swim tethers made up of plastic vs aluminum. If more strength is needed, buy 2 of the cheaper ones. It'll still be less than the kit w/ the rod as an option.

Good quality, but I would go for the bigger kit.
This swim tether is well-made, but is a little limited. It comes with a concrete installation plate, but if you want to install in a swim spa or on a deck , you will have to contact the manufacturer for the threaded installation or get a little creative. The belt is comfortable, and the kit comes with three lengths of tether cord - 4.5', 6' and 8'. I'm really not sure when you would want to use the shorter cords except for small children. The flexrod pole measures only 2' tall, so even with the longest tether cord, your feet will be kicking pretty close to the wall. Honestly, I would just opt for the larger kit that has a longer flexrod pole.
