Simple, inexpensive and works. You learn quickly when your own "butt" is on the line, so to speak! As depressing as it was to find myself looking for this, I so very much appreciated that it wasn't another one of those horrid institutional-looking beige or pukey pale greens that are usually pushed on those needing to purchase lower cost medical devices. The color is a dusty rose...to me it makes it a lot less depressing - it's more humanizing and less medical. FOR NEWBIES (like myself) - I'd recommend trying water that is cooler than you think you'll want first. I went in the reverse...though my hand felt fine in it and it did not burn me, it made my upset nerves more upset. Just changing to a bit cooler water and gradually adding warmer water made all the difference. THANK YOU FOR NOT BEING AN UGLY INSTITUTIONAL COLOR: I advocate for every person's psychological well-being being part of what we sell...to me, as a woman, this did so. I want to applaud any and all companies that show, not just an understanding of aesthetics for better sales, but also because they care about how their products affect those needing to use them. Wealthy people can always find a nice-looking alternative, but if you are poor...those people get emotionally hammered as they aren't allowed choice. Well done Nova. Also, though I wasn't looking for a bag...didn't even know why one was included...I found the engineering quite innovative and useful.

Thank you Nova for making a product that allows us to actually use the bag feature. For those that do, it is VERY important that the clip on the bottom of the bath holds the tubing in place because if not, the water will spray ALL over the place. Such a simple design but it WORKS and water overflows in the toilet NOT on the floor. in my opinion, this is the BEST stiz bath on the market. Fits my standard AND my oval oversized toilet perfectly. Comfortable too, much easier than pouring a bath in the tub 3 x a day. Kudo's and many thanks!

I purchased this because of a "bartholin gland cyst" which is a fairly common and painful female issue. I was told by the OBGYN to do regular sitz baths. I am now a believer in sitz baths for all females (taking at least one per week and especially so for those who are sexually active). Doing them has worked like a charm for me but even filling a normal bath tub with a few inches of water and sitting in it 15+ minutes is not so convenient at times because of my busy schedule. I find it is wise to incorporate your sitz bath time with giving yourself a manicure or letting a facial mask cure, thereby multi-tasking and not sitting counting the minutes.I have a newer oblong toilet seat and was worried this wouldn't fit but it works just fine. This is a good product for the price and serves the purpose. I mix a decent amount of Dead Sea Salt I purchased here on Amazon with warm water (as warm as I can stand). I then sit in the water - not as long as I do the regular tub but still, around 10 minutes. I do not use the reservoir bag that came with my unit but it appears it would work just fine. I weight around 155 lbs and am 5'4" and the seat isn't the most comfortable in the world. I think for a bigger person or a person with a larger rear, it may be too uncomfortable to mess with and hard to get full area submersion.

I just received this today, and I find it very comfortable and easy to use. I have 2 toilets in my house, one is a longer bowl and it fits them both fine. My only concern is that after 3 uses I noticed a small crack on one side, it's not broken however I weigh 110 lbs and I'm not sure how this would hold you for someone bigger.

I was very thankful for the use of this sitz bath, which I used for several weeks. It fits very well on the toilet, under the seat. I didn't want to spend a fortune for medication for the itching, so I followed the recommendation of using it 3 times a day for 15 minutes. After a time, I have had no more problems. Combined with the use of a hemmhoroid pillow, it works wonders for this condition.

Absolutely great device. Very smartly made. If your but fits the toilet you will fit this bath!You will need a quart of warm water and a table spoon or so of Epson Salt ( food grate of course ). Slowly sit in and the excess of water will go back to the toilet. If for some med reason you need to use soaking buy this bath. I can't imagine better design for the same purpose than this one.

I bought this to use post-partum and the tube that is supposed to actually create the "bath" would not stay in place, no matter what. It has a tiny opening on one side towards the end of the tube and it kept either twisting and facing down or sideways, or just completely getting unclipped from the little plastic piece that holds it in the bottom. It was infuriating trying to get this to work for me in my state of deprived sleep and I wound up using it only once (holding the tube in the basin with my hand at a weird angle) before just throwing it in the tub never to be used again....Just my two cents..!
