Dead battery? Exide AGM a Quick Fix...
The battery died on my 2002 Boxster S so I hit the Friendly Local Auto Parts only to find that the battery I needed was not in stock. I wanted an AGM battery because they can take multiple charges and deep discharges without failing. I Googled my choices and up popped Amazon.com. With prime service I found the battery well packed on my doorstep 2 days later. A 10mm wrench to loosen the cable clamps, a 13 mm socket to loosen the battery hold down clamp and lift the battery out. What could be easier? I did need my anti theft radio code to get the radio to play again. Luckily the card was handy in the owners manual. I did not even loose the per-programmed stations on the radio. The engine idled rough after starting the car with the new battery because the ECU had lost its settings. I drove the car on the highway for about 20 miles to re-train the ECU and all is well since then. The car starter turns faster and the engine starts sooner. I should have done this six months ago. My last battery was 3-1/2 years old and was the standard BOSCH 48-690B. The L4/94R (H7) is slightly shorter but fits well in the front trunk and is rated at 800 CCA instead of 690 CCA hence the faster starts. The Exide even had the vent tube adapter on the right side of the battery. Thanks Amazon for coming through again!

A very beautiful looking battery from the outside
A very beautiful looking battery from the outside; However, this is the worst automotive battery I have ever owned. Exide must have cut corners with the internal components of this battery production. (Perhaps they used cheap lead from China etc). Whatever the cause, this battery lasted 1 year and then started its decline. I had to trickle charge it from time to time to keep it going. By 1.5 years, it would not hold a charge more than a few hours and stranded me on one occasion. I emailed Exide and they gave me the Amazon phone number to call to get a replacement. Since this particular battery was not available any longer by Amazon (who was the seller); Amazon simply refunded me the purchase price of the battery. I give Exide high praise for backing up their product warranty (free replacement if the battery wont hold a charge during the warranty period) and I give Amazon high-praise for making the warranty experience a winner! My 1 star rating is strictly for the very poor and unacceptable battery performance.

2 years later, still works great on my Porsche Boxster
I switched to this AGM battery after the factory lead acid battery died in my Porsche. It's my 3rd car, and a pleasure vehicle, so it doesn't get driven every day, especially in the winter months. Just sitting for days or weeks without much use is hard on batteries in modern cars, due to parasitic drain from the electronics that still consume electricity while the car is parked. The lead acid battery would occasionally draw down to the point where I couldn't start the car. I switched to AGM due to it's ability to withstand multiple deep discharge cycles without drastically shortening the battery life. I'm pleased to announce that after two years of use, this battery is still great! It cranks stronger and faster than it ever did with the stock battery. I'm impressed that my car will start without hesitation on those occasions where it sits for 2 to 3 weeks. I have yet to encounter a situation where the battery is completely dead and the car won't start. I'm sold - I'm switching to AGM on all of my cars as their batteries need to be replaced.

Did not last / But Honored Warranty
1 Star for the battery life5 Stars for the warranty.AVG 3 StarsPurchased in April 2016 with a 24 month warranty. Worked great when new. After 1.5 years of use Car is difficult to start. Had to jump start twice in last 2 weeks. Had battery tested and it tests bad. Customer service only open during the weekdays. They were very nice when i got in touch with them they told me since I bought from amazon, Amazon would cover warranty and gave me the customer service number. Amazon was very nice said that it was covered but out of stock so they issued a refund. Based on other reviews I think I will try a different manufacturer. I'm looking at Northstar. Previous battery was an Odyssey AGM but group 48, lasted almost 5 years (3 of which were in Arizona heat).

Like most diesel engines the TDI needs a lot of ...
This battery was a direct fit in my 2000 Volkswagen Jetta TDI. It's January and very cold here.. Like most diesel engines the TDI needs a lot of CCA's in sub-zero temperatures. So far this battery has performed better than I expected and much-much better than the gas model battery it replaced. I gave it four stars because I haven't had it long enough to attest for its longevity. I'd definitely give five stars for fit, finish and overall satisfaction.

A little tall ...did not last 2 years...
Bought for a 2011 Volvo C70. The length and width are perfect but it is taller than OEM battery. Had to adjust hold down bracket to secure. For those of u that have the same vehicle and experience battery drain...get the Rdar software update for ur satellite radio...that's the problem...had to change batteries 2x in five years.....update: 6/17/2018..2 years later battery died...went to get battery ck at a auto part store...78 CCA only...this battery was rated at 800 CCA...TOTAL FAILURE! AGM plates....skip it...had to buy another battery!

Works in 2011 BMW 335iS but don't forget coding/registration is highly recommended for newer BMWs.
Nice battery, perfect fit in my 2011 BMW 335iS. One thing to keep in mind, changing batteries on certain model year BMWs it's recommended to "register" the battery with the car ECU as well as specify the battery type and capacity. This is not a trivial process. If you've done any coding on your car there are some write-ups you can follow. However if you had a lead-acid and switch to this AGM it can possibly cause you problems and I highly recommend taking your car to a dealer or BMW shop to have them install so they can properly code and register the battery. From my understanding in certain circumstances, not doing this process can not only damage the battery but can damage the car as well.
