These are just hanging fixtures. The fixture looks good for what I want. That said the mounting hardware is a joke, and assembly is very difficult if not impossible without extra tools. If your electrical box is flush or recessed the center post that the electrical wire goes through, is not long enough to attach to the mounting bracket and wire lock harness that goes through the wiring cover. I had to cannibalize the center screws from my uninstalled lights and cut and ream those out to fit the new fixture, which was not easy. Then the bolts that hold the cover in place landed squarely where the mounting screws go into the electrical box. Had to cut the washers and carefully align everything in place then attach it while making sure the screws didn't push the bolts out of position to go through the round box cover. They look nice, but I recommend not buying these unless you have a professional electrician or extremely mechanically smart person to install them.
