I was wrong....electric really isnt the best way!
I had never heard of haberman lovi, until a friend recommended them. She has the all in one electric pump that turns manual and says she only ever uses the manual. In 2011 I had my first baby, assumed using a manual pump would be too time consuming and arm achy so I got a tommee tippee electric pump...struggled with it, noisy, didn't pump much, had me stuck in one place. Fast forward to 2016 I had my 2nd baby and the thought of expressing being one of dread I hadn't gone back to the electric one hidden in a box in the loft. After some feeding issues with my son I needed to express to keep up supply so I started looking for a cheap manual, as I said a friend recommended this brand and I checked out the reviews which were mostly v good. It was slightly reduced on Amazon and fitted the amount I had in mind to pay for an occasional use pump. I was dubious about a manual as I assumed pumping would be a strain on your hand/arm, make it ache and really what mum needs that when knackered already with a newborn?Pump arrived and on first use you boil the parts thereafter you wash and sterilise in steriliser after use. It came in a very nice handy zip up bag with a few spare parts, disposable breast pads and a storage cup.First use amazed me, the amount I pumped in a short far exceeded any I'd got with the TT electric, with far less hassle. It was easy to put together after the initial instructions read AND the pump handle almost did the work for me, I didn't feel like I was exerting much with each pump. Such a relief! So it worked a treat! Added bonus that it's quiet....in comparison to the chug of an electric. I can sit it bed and not wake my son or partner when I pump, it also means I can pump and move if need be....no wires holding me in one place. And it was comfortable too (as comfy as u can be with a pump attached to your boob! No sore nipples. For me this was the best buy! We use the haberman lovi suckle feeder to give the expressed milk too and it's fab.So to conclude my ramblings this is a great pump....- good price that won't break the bank like electric options so no guilt if you don't use often- Easy to transport with zip up travel bag- very easy to use, and no achy arms!- a marked improvement on how much milk I managed to pump obviously this differs woman to woman but for me I used to manage around 30ml in 15mins using tt electric, pumping was hardwork and painful on the nipple, with the manual pump I can often pump over 100-120ml in 10 minutes.-comfortable and no sore nipples.

Brilliant value for money
I am so impressed with this pump. I bought it to take out with me, with the intention of popping it in my hand bag to use on the go to prevent engorgment. I have an expensive Medala electric pump to use at home and this is better! You get so much for the money. You get a carry case, a really good, well made effective pump and spare parts and some breast pads thrown in for good measure! Within 3 minutes I had pumped 40ml of milk. It is so comfortable and the suction is adjustable so you get a really snug fit. Would definitely recommend.
