Looked great when i got it
Looked great when I got it. The coating didn't hold up over time. After a few years the frame started to rust. Considering it only had to sit there and was not subjected to any harsh anything I would have expected ALOT BETTER, I could spray paint a metal bar and set it in on my kitchen floor and it would last a lot longer. The only reason I gave it such a high rating is because it was a good price.

Great Purchase!
**update 8/10/19**Our little outdoor friend still uses this food and water holder. I have replaced the stainless steel bowls twice. She eats at her little station 2-3 times a day. I know when she is hungry because she sits right in front of the food side, sitting up nice and straight. If it gets dirty I just hose everything down. I clean the water dish regularly. I still use paper bowls and sit them right inside the stainless steel bowl. I found if I stick a rolled piece of tape under the bowl, it sticks to the stainless steel bowl enough to keep the paper bowl from twirling around while she eats. This has been a fabulous purchase!-------------------------------------------------I ordered this stand on 9/10/17 & it was delivered 9/12/17. It came as described. It was easy to put together, lightweight, and stylish. The bowls are a nice size and fit perfectly into the designated spot. *Paper bowls also fit really well, with or without the stainless steel bowl underneath.I purchased this for a homeless cat that adopted my family. After she gave birth in our yard and we kept her and her babies healthy on a raw food diet, the animal shelter picked them all up at 8 weeks old, adopted out the babies, neutered the Mama and then released her back in our neighborhood. I was heart broken for her. My kids are allergic to cats and we have an inside dog that doesn't share his family well, so we could not offer her a home. We have continued feeding her if she stopped by, but it has become a daily visit, breakfast and dinner, so I really needed a more permanent feeding area for her. Paper bowls scoot as she eats or fly away. And we have to give her fresh water and ice cubes several times a day in a new paper bowl to keep in sanitary. She is full grown , maybe 2 years old, and only about 8-9lbs. She seems to be on the smaller side. This stand is the perfect height for her. She looked a little confused when my son took it out there for her dinner, but then she figured out really quickly what it was for. Usually she would scrunch down on her tummy to eat and scoot after the paper bowl as it scooted away. Tonight she stood up, looked around as she ate, even sat upright and after for a bit she really seemed to enjoy it. I did put a paper bowl, on top of the empty bowl, with her food in it. It fit perfect. At the end, when she was licking the sides of the paper bowl it slid around a little. But for the most part it worked out better than I hoped.I am very happy with this purchase. It is well worth the money. I hope this and the house, bed, and toys we bought her will make her feel like she has a permanent home and is wanted.

Cute little pet bowls & stand! Cheaper than PetCo, too!
We have a shi-tuz who is 12 years old. He is adorable and his name is Oreo. Oreo has a set of stoneware bowls in a frame that we paid $25 for at PetCo. They are like these: http://www.amazon.com/Signature-Housewares-Bowls-Stand-Green/dp/B004FPIM1A/ref=pd_sim_petsupplies_2 and he has been eating out of them for 8 years now, so he must like them. Those claim to be 24 oz, but they are more like 12 oz each. No biggie. They hold almost 2 cups of food.Last month we adopted another adorable dog named Macy. She is a 1/2 King Charles Cavalier and 1/2 Beagle. She needed a set of bowls, too. We got her a set like these since she was so tiny: http://www.amazon.com/Petmate-Doskocil-23047-Designer-Double/dp/B000LNVR8A/ref=pd_sim_sbs_petsupplies_11 and it was great for about 2 weeks. I wanted to get her something that she can use for a while and this set is it.The box is not large; I'd say it's half the size of a small pizza box. You take out the three pieces and put it together. It's not difficult, if you can put a straw in your drink at McDonald's then you can handle this. It technically IS possible to put it together upside down, but it is also possible to brush your teeth with the wrong end of the toothbrush. Common sense folks. Is it a quality wrought iron? Nah, but it is pretty cute and seems sturdy. Your dog might be able to push it around, but if that is an issue you might want to set it on a skid-proof rug.The dishes are small. I've posted some photos to help you out. These hold a little less than 2 cups each. They will hold approx 3 Krispy Kreme original glazed donuts. They are as big around as a canister of Ovaltine. They are a thin metal, your dog isn't going to eat them, but you shouldn't try to stomp on them or anything.I have posted some photos for your reference. Macy is in the photos and she is about 10 lbs right now. I'd say this is awesome for a dog under 20 lbs and may be a bit small for anything larger than that. It would also be good for a cat, but I hate cats so I don't have any around to test it.Remember - spay or neuter your pets, adopt don't shop, puppy mills kill, and if you want a best friend who will never judge and always love you - get a dog!

Looks exactly like the pictures however nothing in the description stated how small it is. Only really suitable for toy size dogs, mine is a small/medium so struggles to use it.

meh
I gave it three stars because it's nice looking, comes with the bowls and made of good material. However, one side of the stand won't stay in, and the part that holds the bowl doesn't go down as far as it should. Needless to say it's a little wobbly. I went to returns and found out I can't replace it. For that I"m pretty disappointed. I have noticed the price has changed 2 times since I bought it a few days ago. Maybe because of the stand problem. I see others have no problems, lucky... cat would rather eat out of the bowl on the floor. =(

Legs don't fit and no return or exchange
One of the legs is crooked and won't completely go in so the whole thing is wobbly and off balance Tried to return for replace and found out it wasn't eligible. I guess the seller knows that it's defective. Very disappointed. Waste of money.

Very nice however
This is very nice, elegant and good strong quality. However I took one star off because when you pick it up one of the legs always seems to drop off. I will eventually glue it - but just a heads up.
