This is a good bag to buy with a new pump. The bags that come with the pumps are not great, very cheap. This bag will last years, lets a good flow in. Some advice, don't let this bag come near the pump, put some filtering material around the pump. If you do, it will limit the flow to the pump quickly if you have some typical dirty pond water with leaves. This bag is for big stuff. Pretty sure it will not stop snails from getting to the pump. Nothing but a big dose of chlorine will do that.

This bag allowed my water pump to pump out standing water with debris in my backyard. And the bag prevented clogging and the pump worked well.

Does the job.Why don't they make wider bags vs taller bags? It's more functional if it's wider. It doesn't need to be taller.

Easy to put on/get off for easy cleaning, though I just got it and haven't yet cleaned it. Overall, it fits the pump snugly and keeps debris out of the pump unit.

Keeps the big debris out of the filter system or the pump system so it’s not clogging up every other day from leaf debris. It’s wonderful Made much easier.

To keep the dirty leaves off

Bought for my goldfish pond pump. Bought to help keep my pump cleaned out but bag kept getting sucked into pump making it bogged down and clogged. Not very Happy with product. Was a waste of money!!!

Using this for my barley pellets. Mesh is fine enough to hold them and strong enough to feel confident they won’t end up all over the pond.
