Back is solid, front not so much.
Set looks great on my bike so will be sorely missed, however the front mudguard continually loosens to the point it scrapes on my tires. The back one however is solid and only ever moves when my foot hits it getting on

Beware of the catch !
1. This is for small wheels 26" and below. Not for 29" wheels2. The front mudguard requires a specific type of front wheel mechanism with a hole to mount the two halves.I found this out only after purchasing for my 29" bike. Funnily enough, the rear mudguard fitted quite easily and it does provide a lot of protection. The front mudguard is quite useless. I ended up purchasing a quality product from the local cycle store which cost a lot (Β£29 for just the front - double that for the set). This works very well. The original mudguard has been thrown away as it did not fit either my 26" or 29" cycles.

Installation challenge but very sturdy
Had purchased these a long time ago and eventually fitted them to my sons MTB.They aren't overly complicated to attach but having to adjust them in certain can result in having to dismantle the majority of the item again. Its not too difficult but give yourself some time. They are VERY sturdy and don't shift around with any of the knocks/bumps we've encountered to dateWill likely buy a 2nd set for my daughter's bike to replace a clip-on mudguard

Look great
These look great on my son's new bike. The orange/yellow writing matches the design on his Raleigh Awesome bike perfectly. His Dad didn't complain too much about putting them on the bike but we did get the bike delivered so had to assemble it at home anyway so I think it was easy enough to add them into the assembly process. Well made and look really cool (quoting my son) - how they perform as mudguards not sure yet as the weather has been too good so no mud about!! I'm sure that situation will change but I can't seem them not working. Good price and well packaged by Amazon.

Great Guards for kids MTB.. I fitted them on 20 inch and 24 inch wheeled bikes no problem.
Fitted these on 2 kids bikes with front suspension. One with 24 inch wheels, one with 20 inch wheels. They were an easy fit at the front with the option to go under or over the suspension brace. The rear mudguard is seat-post fixing which is fine, but with all other accessories (such as lights and reflectors) coming as seat-post mounting it can be a bit of a game to find a spare piece of seat post. I had to raise my sons seat height an extra 1/2 inch to be able to mount the light and the mudguard (he'll grow!).From what I could see, the main thing (besides size) that sets these apart from expensive adult guards is the mounting brackets are a little on the heavy side. Not a problem in this price range, or for their intended use on kids bikes. That said they are pretty robust looking.
