PILOT G2 Premium Gel Pens, Fine Point 0.7mm, Green Ink, 12-Pack

Pilot pens are some of the best out there! They work consistently throughout my day as a teacher. I used to use the red colored ones, but some of my students complained that might be triggering. So as an experiment, I switched to green to mark up their work. It seems to do the trick! As an added bonus, it happens to be my favorite color! I can usually make a pack of 12 last all year!

I LOVE this shade of green. It's amazing.

These are the only pens I will use for work. They write very smoothly and darkly. The other green pens I have tried are too light, or I have to press hard to get it to show up better, or they are too wet and smear. These are perfect. In fact, I told my boss to get me these pens specifically, and she brought me Papermate. I threw them away and bought these with my own money.

Green G2 gel pens are hard to find, so finding these on Amazon was a blessing. These gel pens are the quality you expect from Pilot G2 products. The ink lies evenly, and the color is saturated. The nib is the perfect size for detailed work or using in adult coloring books.

My favorite pens are undoubtedly the Signo 207's. But for some reason, signo makes the 207 with a very light green ink. It's almost unusable to me. So my search for green pens lead me here. After going through about 3 of these, here's what I think: Pros: + Comfortable in hand + The green ink is very appropriate for writing purposes. It's not a light, soft green and it isn't so dark that it looks of black ink. It's probably the best thing about the pen. + Writes okay + Overall, it's a decent pen. Cons: - I originally purchased the extra fine G2's (also in green), but the lines were way too skinny, even for someone who writes compactly. So, I thought these would be perfect. But unlike the extra fine G2's, they bleed after you write. I don't mean to say the ink will spew out of the pen or leak in your pocket, but just that the ink absorbs into the paper slower. So initially you may have a perfect line, then suddently you have a bolder font. If you have small handwriting, this may be an issue. I've noticed it differs depending on the type of paper I'm writing on. - If this pen were a car, it would be a gas guzzler. I couldn't believe how fast this thing went through ink. - When I write with these, I notice they lag a little. I'm not quite sure how to describe it. It's as if the pen were heavier, or the ink were stickier (but it isn't actually), or if the surface of the paper suddently became rougher, or maybe it's less aero dynamic. Well, you get the point. Summary: > Don't be fooled the the Cons section was longer. > It's a great substitution, but if Uni-ball makes changes up their green ink, this guy's getting benched. > Best feature: Color of the ink > Worst feature: Ink doesn't absorb on all surfaces equally > Spent too much time writing a review for a pen.

A really nice finer, sharper point gel pen. Ink color is true and dries quickly.

I love these large 1.0 bold pens! Yes, it is very thick in the line width but for me, it makes everything clearer and when I write checks, it goes through to the check copy beneath the check. Also, I take lots of hand written notes on the fly and I can see them better and find what I write much easier. These have actually changed the way I write because I am included to write broader with a nice thick line.. I have not yet found these to run, glop, or have any kind of leakage problems. I purchased four, went through them and then bought this box of 12. They will smear if you accidentally swipe across the surface before the ink dries. But to me, they are worth it.

I love these pens. The have a nice, solid click that displays its quality craftmanship. The fine tip allows for small writing, in that regard the only negative point is that the gel ink may smear, as gel ink is always prone to do. I am a teacher and have been using these pens for ten years and if pilot keeps manufacturing them, I plan on using them at least 10 more.

I prefer a darker, bolder, brighter green. These are ok; but a little too pale for my personal taste.
