Parkhurst Women's Desmona Cape

I was looking for a coat to keep me warm while my arm was in a sling during the winter. The coat is light and does not place excess pressure on the shoulder. There is only one button at the neck which is easy to do up. The length is good, not too short. it keeps me warm enough but cold air can travel from below and the open sleeve but its good enough from the house to the car The fur collar can stand up to keep the neck warm or be folded down. It looks stylish on. The only negative is that for the price, the fabric and fur could be better quality - its similar to a fleece non-pilling blanket throw used for a couch.

I love this! It's roomy so I can fit thick sweaters underneath it. I like the fact that my neck stays warm thanks to the collar and I don't have to deal with zippers that end up jamming in my clothes or breaking. I had one years ago that I bought from a small business store and loved that one then - people would compliment me on it. I never thought I would get lucky to find another! It's bulky when I put my seat belt on, but I can work it so the seat belt is underneath the cape by pulling It out and over the belt.

The reviews say that it is cheap - but this is not a heavy coat. Think of it as a stylish fleece coat. It is not lined, the front sways open on occasion, but I get tons of compliments on it. It is the perfect coat for a Las Vegas night or a California night in the winter. I wish it had another button (it only has one at the top). I also wish it had a pleat in the back. From the back it tends to look like you've wrapped a blanket around your shoulders. But it looks just like on the model and I am not skinny! I love the gray color.

This cape is generous and keeps the wind out. I would wish that it was a bit thicker material and thus hung straighter. I would wish the fur was softer. Overall I like it a lot and kept it. I wear it every day despite the -25 degree temps we've been having on this 2014 winter that won't quit.

I like this cape a lot. Nice and warm and it's not too long or too short. I gave it 4 stars only because it is not lined. I didn't pay attention when I placed the order. Because of static, I can not wear this with everything. It is pretty and I get a lot of compliments when I do wear it.

Ah the compliments I get when I wear my cape.... I only preened a little bit in front of the mirror when it arrived. I am tiny (5' and 106lbs) and this cape does not overwhelm me, it would also work very well for plus size gals (I speak from experience, I know how to dress a plus sized body as I used to weigh 230lbs). You really can't go wrong with this purchase, it's very fashionable and oh so warm.

I got this when it was on sale for less than $30 (mid summer) I've been wanting something like this for years. I usually bring it with me to watch movies since I get cold quite easily. Will likely be a great addition for the colder months as well.While I can't say I'd buy this at the full price ($90ish) it was a great buy for what I paid.

I am 6' tall and I like the way this cape fits. I like it because I wear it to keep warm while going outdoors while wearing my business suits. It is a simple design with simple materials that look good. My friend who is pregnant said she wants to borrow it ... her growing belly will never fill this baby up!I would recommend this purchase.
