how many calories does it have?

I have the old pkgs (8 fluid oz) but it's for the lactose intolerant, very high calorie 530 calories, 16% from protein.

How much sugar in the 8oz product?

The label clearly reads Total Sugars = 13 grams Including 13 grams of added sugars. In other words 26% DV

Does it help gain weight??

Of course. 530 cal. in just 8 oz. is a wonderful snack. We use it as a 10 am snack. The tiny, thin straw attached is pretty much useless. It takes a lot of work to suck such thick liquid through a thin straw. We pour it into a glass. We use the Ensure Plus for overnight snacking because of the screw-on lid.

What is the shelf life (unopened) of this product?

Just like any edible product, there is a “best by” date on the package. There is no way for me to know what will be shipped to you. It’s never been an issue. The last shipment I got was dated in 2022.
