Hair re-growth - soft and shiny - color restoration - Oh My!
It is almost unbelievable. My hair was graying and thinning. Last time I went to my hairdresser after using the bar for about a month - she asked me if I thought my hair was darkening and the thin areas filling in. I said, Yes, I thought so too! My hair has never been so healthy - shiny and soft in addition to regaining some of its color and thickness. The lather is luxurious - I look forward to my shampoos with eagerness because my hair feels so wonderful. Friends have begun to question me about my hair product, noticing the positive changes as well. I love this product!

Love how natural it is, strips dye from hair though.
I absolutely love this brand & use their other products. I love knowing I am putting something without lots of chemicals on my scalp. I have had some gray hairs since I was 22 (I’m now 26) so I lightly dye my roots, & noticed if I use a lot or scrub hard on my roots my dye fades faster than usual. But that’s okay. (I know it sounds contradicting I use a natural shampoo bar but dye my roots with chemicals, I’m just a human😭😂) But I am on my third shampoo bar from them! I buy about two a month. I also use their beef tallow moisturizer, have been using it for over a year. & I use their scentless body bar. Makes me feel like I love myself by using pure products like these. 🥹

Impressed
I have unruly hair. It’s fine but there’s a lot of it and it’s curly/wavy/messy. I wasn’t expecting to like this, it was strictly for travel… but I love it. And have continued using it at home. Smells fresh but the smell doesn’t linger. Just leaves hair clean and soft

Great bar shampoo! BUT breaks me out.
I've tried Ethique, Hibar, and Viori. All of those left a film on my hair that made it look greasy. I was about to give up on bar shampoo until I tried this one. So happy for an unscented version as well. This bar does not leave any film, and my hair feels full, soft, and hydrated. Will definitely repurchase!!UPDATE: I got through one bar before realizing this shampoo broke me out. My forehead and neck are a mess. The bar also doesn't last as long as other similar shampoos. I like the formula, and how it made my hair feel... but not so pleased with the breakout so I will have to lower my rating and discontinue use.

Wow!!!!!
Amazing! We made the switch to a shampoo bar (different company) and it has been awful. My daughters hair is naturally oily and it left her hair waxy and weighed down. She has hair all the way to her back. After 2 months we ditched the bar we previously ordered and ordered this one from Buffalo Gal. We are blown away. Day 2 and her hair is still soft, shiny, and has body. I was a little wary because of the price but it’s totally worth every penny. It is also the shampoo bar recommended by the Heart & Soil team (carnivore m.d., animal based diet)

Love It for Curly Hair
I use tallow for skin care as i eat an animal based diet. I thought I’d give it a try for my hair and had low expectations. I have been using it for a week and I love this shampoo bar! My locks are soft with no frizz and my hair looks the best it’s ever looked. I’m in FL where the humidity creates bad hair days most of the year.

This soap isn't vegan, but the animal part comes from silkworms (not a buffalo).
Summary of ingredients:1) Sodium cocoyl isethionate: gentle surfactant derived from coconut oil2) Propylene glycol: substance that absorbs water (banned in some countries because of adverse effects when ingested in large amounts)3) Glyceryl stearate: hydrates the skin4) Glycerin: a moisturizer5) Water: Do I need to explain water?6) Decyl Glucoside: another gentle surfactant7) Methylsulfonylmethan (MSM): lessens inflammation8) Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C)9) Silk peptides: makes hair shiny and smooth (This is why the product isn't vegan. This comes from silkworms.)The word "natural" in the claim "all natural ingredients" probably meets the definition as it's stretched by industry, but it doesn't meet the expectation that most people conjure in their minds when thinking of "natural ingredients" (simple, unprocessed ingredients that don't require a search engine to interpret). All that said, I used this soap bar on my body, not my hair, and to my surprise, I absolutely love it.I ordered the unscented bar with no coloring; both of those things are so unnecessary. There is a subtle smell to the soap bar, and it smells like a true "clean" scent--not the stereotypical soap scent that people think of. It feels exquisite on my sensitive skin. I'm blown away at how it surpassed my expectations.I think the branding could be better. Maybe some of their products are created from buffalo products, but this one isn't.
