The kids love them. Functionality is good range is good price is great. Not sure of battery life as I recharge after every use. I do wish it just took regular batteries. If batteries were to die in the middle of play it would be a catastrophe 😆. Kids aren't the most patient. And the reviews about the battery compartment being a pain isn't entirely true. The set up could be better but it's not bad once you get used to how to position the wires and battery you'll be fine took me all of a minute to perfect. Long story short, looking for a automatic water gun this is a great place to start.

My kids have several brands of cheap electric water guns. One liked how this gun looked so I ordered. It is cheaply made even comparing to similarly priced water guns. The catch that hold the "magazine" in place broke within the first 10 minutes of play, rendering the gun useless. No spare parts out there, so I returned it. Also noting this gun was the weakest of all the cheap water guns we have, only firing about 8 feet.
