Stellar Profile 5-Piece Set of Pans, 16cm, 18cm x 20cm Saucepans with Strainer Lids, Teflon Non Stick Frying Pan 20cm, Non-Stick Sauté Pan 24cm, Induction Ready

We bought this pan set in 2021, so used for exactly 2 years now. The pans themselves are great, I don't put them in the dishwasher - much to my husbands dismay, but no problem washing them. I use Barkeepers friend to keep the bases clean when they get a little stained and they are still bright and shiny. I read people's reviews about the hot handles and this is a problem, but I keep a small micro fibre cloth in the pan draw just to use with the lids, it's ideal. The only problem is the small frying pan, it's the ideal size for eggs (for 2) but everything has started to stick, nothing I do will stop it. I have to leave it to soak and then scrape the dried food off, such a shame. The larger saute pan is fine, but not really used as much, probably because I'm worried it will go the same way as the smaller pan. I have an older Tefal frying pan which I usually resort to as I know it will fry anything with no fuss. They really are nice pans, with the exception of the non stick. I've contacted Stellar directly to see what my guarantee covers. I'll update when they've replied.

Very good quality pans - at least the saucepans. Fairly easy to clean, unless you really burn food in it but even then once clean they are like new. The frying pan and wide base pan both have a black non-stick coating which has lasted so far but not as well as I had hoped - it is really sensitive to any utensils (and we make a conscious effort to avoid metal utensils at all times). The handles are really sturdy and after 18 months of use there's still no sign at all of any rust so it's really built well. However - my main complain (and it's a big one) is that the handles on the lid are also stainless steel, and get really hot! I used to have similar pans with silicone handles which meant they could go straight from the hob to the sink to strain (the built in lid strainer is one of my favourite features) - however with these I've burned my hand a few times learning my lesson to wear gloves - which, when your pan is boiling over, gets a bit stressful to have to find oven gloves...

These are great pots. Nice and heavy, sturdy, good base and even heat distributionAs many others reported, the coating on the steel seems to be really poor and the pots are marked as shown in the picture after just 1 use. However, after using them for more than one hour each, these marks have disappeared as you can see from the second picture.They do say in the product description to fill up the pans with water and boil them twice. However, they do not say how long for. So, I guess they need to be used for at least one hour to boil water or something to remove the top coating. Once this is done, the pots are really rather good.The Teflon coated pans seem to be good straight away and do not suffer from this complication.

Bit pricey but with these you do get what you pay for . We would recommend them

I can’t comment whether the pots are easy to clean or the heat distribution because I haven’t used them yet. I bought these to match a set of pots I got free with my new induction Hob that hasn’t been fitted yet, which won’t be until my kitchen refurb has been completed. However, they look sturdy and they match my other new pots.

This is my second set of Stella pans. Unbeatable value for money. Easy to clean and dishwasher friendly too. Used on an induction hob. Lifetime guarantee. Can't go wrong with these. I've had much worse induction pans (different brand) which were poor by comparison as well as being more expensive. If you have any problems, customer service do not expect you to have kept your receipt for the guarantee. Send e-mail pics if you have any issues and they send a brand new replacement immediately, if they think the issue is not of your doing. You don't even have to send the damaged one back. Very professional. One of my pans developed a small crack, due to a fault in production.

Lovely pans only think I found is the lid handles get a bit hot .but a lovely set. lids have strainer holes in them which is great ...a good buy
