This book was extremely helpful. I've been trading for about six months, so what I read was affirming, corrective and instructive. (If you've never traded, this will be all theory until you apply it, so get on a platform and practice!) If I could change one thing, I would like for him to speak a bit on seeing chart patterns using heiken ashi candles--one chapter would do. He provided a lot of valuable information, concisely. I appreciate that! Too many unnecessary words can be annoying, but the author doesn't do that. My true rating is 4.5 because of heiken ashi, but 5 stars is the choice given.

The information seems great but when trying to understand the illustrations that go along with it they are black and white plus blurry which makes it hard to decipher.

It's a great read with lots of educational information especially for new beginners. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get some knowledge in the markets.

The hardcover is not worth the extra money. Kind of spongy feeling. Also, Amazon shipped me a damaged copy that doesn’t fully closing, driving me nuts…

I have been trading for over two decades. I highly recommend this book for traders of all levels. I lost a lot of money because of ignorance of the principles and strategies taught in this book. This book will guide you to become successful at trading. My favorite quote is, "successful traders using technical analysis trade with a bias toward the long-term trend. It has had a long time to establish itself, and it will take a large surge of momentum to change its direction." There is a world of difference when you follow technical knowledge and tools as taught in this great book. I highly recommend it.

I am a beginner trader and this book did exactly what I needed it to do which was to show me not just what indicators and patterns are but HOW and WHEN to use them. The only downside of the book for me was information related to volume because I can't get data on that with the forex; so I was thrilled to learn about it and then couldn't put it to use :(. Will definitely reference it if I ever get into stocks. This book will more than pay for itself with one trade if you use it correctly. I enjoyed exploring the charts during/after each chapter.

Clear and comprehensive. This book will definitely help me on my investing journey and will hopefully help me anticipate downturns and ride the upturn wave of the stock markets!

Easy to read, and follow. Approaches are well played out and easy to follow and incorporate in your daily trading.

El libro en sí no está mal, pero los gráficos son en blanco y negro y apenas se pueden leer. Parecen más bien fotocopias. Si quieres aprender con los gráficos que aparecen, mejor no comprar este libro. Da algunos consejos interesantes para principiantes, sobre todo el ratio beneficio/ pédida, la importancia de usar el stop loss siempre y el capítulo de medias móviles no está mal del todo. No lo recomiendo como único libro y además, me parece caro para lo que es.
