Nutri-Vet Alaska Salmon Oil for Cats, 4 Ounce

I'm coming back to buy more of this brand of salmon oil. My cats really seem to like this brand and I just figured salmon oil with salmon oil. I wanted a larger bottle I have two adult cats and it doesn't last that long. The one cat who started chewing the fur off his backside with this salmon oil has stopped coat is shiny dandruff is gone.So I bought another brand that came in an 8 oz pump bottle. First night put it on the food both cats just looked at me like what have you done. I'm not sure if they're going to eventually accept it or not but for Health's sake I'm going to buy some more nutri-vet I just wish they came in larger bottles.I see some complaining about coming back and different lots with different results I'm going to hope for the best.

I buy this for my cat who has stomach issues and throws up often due to allergies. We were getting her prednisone shots every couple of weeks and that did not help so I wanted to try something that would help her stomach and was budget friendly. I’m glad I did. This has been a heaven sent. This has cut her vomiting by more than half. She will throw up once every couple of weeks rather than every day. She also doesn’t shed as much and seems to be more energetic. I really love this product and the results I have seen. We just put the recommended amount on her food daily and she eats it right up!

My cat likes it, and I've noticed her coat is less dry and flakey. Honestly, I think some people are overreacting about the odor. It's certainly not pleasant but not as bad as being on a beach littered with dead fish. The smell didn't stink up my small, 1 bedroom apartment or my cat's breath more so. Anyways, I'm definitely purchasing again. I can't afford most other brands, so I'm sticking with this.

WE had great expectations for this Alaska salmon oil product- but alas, this is not for our 2 cats.Salmon, in treats, food and rewards is their favorite taste and we feed them salmon treats for rewards with great success. Don't know what's wrong here and I can't say anything is for sure.It's just strange that our salmon loving cats don't even touch this stuff in any presentation.If we should ever feed them chunks of tire rubber, they would walk away- but eventully come backto nosh within an hour. This is their behavior and we know it well. But they will leave this stufffor hours until we remove it from their bowls. Maybe we should call the company and find out why!

I usually buy fish oil capsules and put them on my cat food, but decided to try this instead, and I am sorry I bought it. It has a extremely strong odor that isn't just fishy, but smells like the fish they used were rotten. My cat will not even touch food with just a drop in it because it over powers the the canned Fancy Feast Fish food. She will literally starve all day instead of eat it. I mean I can smell the difference and it is horrible with just one drop. Based on some reviews where a only a few cats or dogs liked it, I think this company uses low quality salmon oil and their processing techniques are not very high standard or it wouldn't smell like old/rotten fish oil. Thankfully it wasn't too expensive because it is going in the garbage because I have tried it over and over for weeks, and I simply end up wasting cat food because of it.

I purchased this product hoping to improve my cat's dry, flakey skin. She would have none of it even when I would try to sneak it into her wet food. The odor is very strong but then again it is fish oil. But, my dogs love it! My cat will just have to have dry, flakey skin.

My cat was having very dry skin with flaking and she would always drag her bottom on the rug to scratch it and this helped so very much in both areas. We just put it over he dry cat food. Her coat is so glossy and shines so much now. I just bought two more bottles.

This product helped within 3 days of my cats scratching themselves. I don't give it to them every day now but do use every 3rd day as maintenance and it works great!
