FlexiFreeze Ice Vest Replacement Panel Refill Inserts

I have heated gear for the winter so I was ready to try the summer gear. I love this product. I did not get the vest that is recommended since I like my vest and my jacket. I placed the panels where I wanted them and then applied my own velcro to my own vest and jacket. I highly recommend this product for anyone who rides long distance or short distance in the summer. No more sweating while wearing your safe riding gear in the heat. I store these in my outdoor freezer; they don't take up much room so they could fit in any freezer.As a woman rider I prefer the panels in areas other than the vest has them installed. I use them on and off the bike. These are great for passengers also. I carry a small bag cooler for very long days, when I stop I place the panels in the bag and the life of the ice is considerably extended.Great product, excellent idea, high recommend. This product would be great for those who work outside in the summer. they can be placed into safety vests with minor adjustments and cheap velcro.

The one thing I don't like is how heavy it is when I first try to put it on, but once it's on I don't notice it. I use it because I have MS and am really affected by the heat. This year we had a really long heat wave and I was really wiped out all day. Once I began wearing the cooling vest I felt free, I could go outside and I never had to worry about going anywhere that might be too hot for me. I bought a second set of the ice cubes so I could always have a frozen set when the first ones thawed out. The bottom line is: this vest is a real life saver!

Our favorite way to use these is while on the Harley during the "cooking season!" We slip these into the lining of our vests, and they offer an enormous amount of relief and allow us to stay on the bike for hours without needing to stop to hang out in the beer coolers at convenience stores!

Just wish this lasted longer

I already have the vest, but a backup set of freezer cubes is always a good idea. I have MS and cannot tolerate temperatures above 75* F. I can be on the boat most mornings without difficulty but as the days heat comes up I need to switch to a fresh and frozen pack. This extends outdoor time to 4 hours with two packs available. Living in Midwest, evaporation cooling devices don't cool due to our humidity.. You end up not just HOT, but HOT and Damp.. so unless you live in Southwest US; I think these are the only product to buy.

Great product stays cold for 1.5 to 2.5 hours. I have three sets of liners to rotate in the freezer. The only minor issue is the pouches can be punctured and leak. But it's just water so no big deal. I'm very grateful to have this during the summer without AC.

Works exactly as advertised. does its work. The only set back is that the shirt gets wet, but I guess it staying dry is impossible.

I just pulled this thing out of the closest after years of not using, to find that all the "bubbles" that were water-filled are now empty. As much as these cost, you'd think that would not happen (though to be fair, I've had this for 9 years). So, I guess maybe plan on buy new panels every few years. I may look into seeing if the pouches in the vest can hold other types of flat ice packs.
