The media could not be loaded.  They work great! Those who said they didn’t work, you HAVE to have good pressure from your return. Backwash/clean your filter, plug other returns that don’t have an aerator, turn your RPM’s up, etc. I have 3 returns total, put the two aerators in, and left my 3rd return open. I tried plugging the 3rd return to see if it made a difference, but it really didn’t. I do wish they sold them in singles as well. I’d love to have one in my 3rd return, but just can’t justify buying another set of two. I ordered the bundle with the adapters in case I needed them, but I didn’t. Took out the “eyeballs” and these screwed right in. Turn your pump off while installing, it’s much easier. I quite enjoy the noise they make actually. Kind of like a soothing water white noise. If you don’t like the sound, the noise reducer button makes it almost silent. Time will tell how fast it raises my pH, but there are lots of bubbles, and I know with aeration you have to have patience. Great product, and it absolutely works if you have enough force from your returns. Highly recommend!

I've had a pool for 25 years and the biggest war I fight every year is the war of pH vs. alkalinity. One or the other is always too high or too low, they are never the same. Acid lowers them both, soda ash raises them both... If I find my pH low and I go to raise it, it comes up but now the alkalinity is too high. Now when I try to lower the alkalinity, the pH goes low out of range. It's like a game of Wack-a-mole. I was on YouTube one day looking to see if this issue had a solution and the majority of people that posted said to introduce oxygen into the water either by direct air injection with a compressor hose or by agitating the water. I found all of this ridiculous and just too much to do, I wanted something simple. Then I ran across the video for SpaO2 and was very intrigued. I'm an engineer by trade and the shear simplicity and genius of this product prompted me to buy a set. I was amazed at how well they worked. I installed them by hand and within a week my Ph was raised to the perfect level, without the use of expensive chemicals. Now you could adjust the alkalinity up or down until it was perfect and the aeration would return the pH back to perfect without affecting the alkalinity. Basically, all you needed to do now was monitor and adjust the alkalinity and completely forget about the Ph. The SpaO2 takes care of the pH for you and it is always bang on. This product works amazingly. Just remember that it doesn't do it over night the first time you install the aerators. Give them a few days to about a week to get the pH right and then forget about the pH and focus your attention on the alkalinity.I'd also like to say a kind word about the company and they're customer care. My original set was purchased in 2020 and they pretty much fell apart after two years of use. Like I said earlier, I'm an engineer. After examining the aerators I could see that they had been 3D printed so basically what I had bought was a proto-type. The plastic wall thickness was way too thin and maybe the manufacturer had not selected the best material for a chlorine environment. Being an engineer I could understand this is all part of the process of developing a new product for market. Maybe you miss the first few times but you keep at it until you get it right. I found the company online, emailed them and surprisingly got a reply the same day. No BS, no telling me I must of done something wrong, just complete agreement in everything that I had observed and an apology for the headache and inconveniences. I got a replacement set of the newer version aerators which are now made of a more durable plastic and also now are injection molded as one piece instead of 3D printed, FOR NO CHARGE! Zero, nada, which is always my favorite price! AND... I got a significant discount on a SECOND pair to gift to a friend who also has a pool and struggles with chemistry balance. In my experiences, this type of service is unheard of. I have no problem giving these aerators and the company that makes them my highest endorsement.

Tried them in all of the discharges at the highest speed on my pump with no aeration at all. Might work for you, but it didn't work for me.
