What I love about these books is how the writing portrays the world of spys and secret agents in the early cold war era. As I read the stories I actually laugh, in a good way, because of how campy they seem today. You can almost see the movie playing in your mind when you read the story and its NOTHING like the actually movie version. I mean the earlier James Bond movies are terrible by today's standards. Incredibly the books are even worse! Don't get me wrong I truly do love them and they are wonderful, but they are also awful. You know what I mean? Other spy books try to make it seem real - these books are complete and udder fantasy.

Gave this to a friend basically someone who has everything. It is impossible to shop for he absolutely loved the gift. The presentation of the set was beautiful and I’m sure he will enjoy it for years to come. It’s nice to give someone a gift they never expected, but greatly appreciated.

My husband hasn't read a book in 10 years, but he is a big fan of James Bond.He read the entire set and was so proud of himself! He compared them to the movies and I had to listen to his comparison after he finished each book... He is a changed man now - he reads!!!
