I don’t drink coffee, but I do have a cup of hot cocoa/chocolate every morning. I had made my hot drink by first microwaving the milk the adding the chocolate mix then stirring to get the lumps out then reheating the cocoa. This new cocoa make allows me to pour in the milk, turn it on, then while it’s heating and stirring for 5-6 minutes I add the cocoa mix. I get a nicely mixed and foamy hot cocoa/chocolate drink that is really perfect. I am very pleased with its performance. Occasionally a small amount of cocoa mix is lightly stick on the bottom but that is easy to clean.

Unlike the more expensive hot chocolate makers this one has a removal cup making it easy to pour and serve along with being able to clean the cup.

We purchased and the unit worked for the first couple of uses. We knew that it had recently been released by the company and you hope that quality control did a good job. So the first couple of times it worked the way it is supposed to but on the next attempt without us knowing it the unit did not spin and it overheated. We tried it again and it worked once and then it did not work with the same issue. I call the company support line and informed them about this issue and told them I requested a replace through Amazon and hopefully it was a one off and the new one would work just fine. Well the same thing but much worse it did not work on the first attempt. We figured out that if you moved the handle on the dispenser you could get it to spin but not always. Once it went through its cycle it gets turned off and you have to wait 5 or more minutes to start over again. We really like the look and the feel of this and we really wanted to keep it. I called the support line again for Zulay and told then they do have a quality issue. Speaking to them further I realized that I was talking to a third party help desk or so it seemed. So not sure if this information will get to the owners of the company but this I am sure is happening to more people who buy this unit.

Hot chocolate needs to be hotter. It gets warm enough to be enjoyable, but it needs to be a little bit warmer.
