Maui JimMen's and Women's The Flats Polarized Rectangular Sunglasses

I have half dozen Maui styles and I like these the most. Feel good and look good. I’ll have another set of these in different color way

I've had friends and family tout Maui Jim sunglasses for a while, but I was skeptical.I decided to take a chance on these, and I'm a believer now.They're very comfortable and light weight. They didn't squeeze my head or slip down my nose even with face moisturizer. The frames are plastic which I prefer as I push them up as a headband when I'm indoors. Plastic frames don't tangle like metal does.The lenses have a nice reflective blue color to them. They're sufficiently dark when wearing the sunglasses, and since I like my sunglasses dark, I'm glad about that. They're very clear to see through though, and I had no problem seeing in shade, in bright sun, or indoors. Colors were clear, and there was a cut back on glare.They come with a tri-fold case that also folds flat if you want to keep it in your glove compartment or purse.I think the shape and size are flattering on my face, and I'm a smaller woman.I think these will be a pair of sunglasses that I wear often for sports, leisure, and travel.

This is the second set of Maui Jim sunglasses I own and I have to say I'm very impressed with these. The sunglasses provide excellent protection from UV rays without a major compromise on brightness. My other pair is older and they make areas dim, so while in a shady area like under a tree or under a canopy or when going in my garage things are noticeably darker. But with these, it is much less noticeable which is great, everything is bright. The tint on the lenses gives everything a warmer tone but that might be because I got mine in red. The frames and temples are thick and sturdy. The glasses are comfortable to wear, however, I found that they slide down my nose quite often when I'm sweating. My other pair has a better grip and I can wear them for hours while doing hard labor like mowing the lawn. An issue with these is that the lenses arrived scratched or with an imperfection. Near the nose pads, there is a small "U" shaped scratch on the lens, for the price of these glasses they should arrive in pristine condition. I blame this on the packaging. They're just stuffed into a plastic bag and tossed in the card stock box. They should be sent inside of the tri-fold case they come with since that has a soft inside. I tried to get a photo of the scratch, but I am not sure the photo shows it properly.The case that comes with these sunglasses is a tri-fold case. The case can be folded so that it becomes flat so you can more easily store it in your pocket or bag. The case comes folded and inside is a microfiber cloth. The case and cloth are both of good quality.The photo shows the lenses in almost an orange color but they are red in color.

Wasn't sure how much I would be able to use these, as I wear prescription glasses as well. Turns out that, even they aren't fit-over style glasses, they sit comfortably in front of my prescription glasses. They lenses are clean and crisp, causing no distortion when worn with my prescription glasses. I keep these in my car primarily for when I am driving. I absolutely love them. They offer good protection from bright sunlight without being overly dark. They are very comfortable, as I have worn them for hours at a time on longer road trips. No discomfort to the bridge of my nose or my ears. They come with a triangular case that has a magnetic closure. Works great for protecting your investment. The case can fold flat when not in use. Definitely some of the nicest sunglasses I have ever owned.

Sunglasses were shipped without any Maui Jim box or packing material. The glasses were just thrown in a box unprotected. All they came with was a Maui Jim tri-fold case. No warranty information, no Maui Jim pamphlets. The glasses squeak and have a lot of plastic noise when putting them on your face. They seem to be counterfeit but I can't confirm. I have bought directly from Maui Jim before so I know what to expect. I am returning these and buying directly for now on.

I actually love the fit and look of these glasses. However, the durability of the lenses is subpar. They are very easily scratched. I’m meticulous about the handling of my glasses, but the slightest mistake will cost you with these.

These Maui Jim's are awesome! I got this for my husband as a surprise, and he was so stoked. I chose the black with teal stripes and they look super cool and stylish. They fit his face perfectly, they don't slide down, and feel comfortable on his ears. The lenses are dark enough to block out the sun, but light enough where he can still see clearly while driving. They come with a nice case to store them when he isn't using them. Overall they are well made and really great quality, just what I expect from Maui Jims. He says they are the best sunglasses he has owned. Definitely would recommend

I’m a longtime fan of Maui Jim - female here. Their lenses are top quality - it’s a clear view with lots of definition, they work well in high sun and high glare. I notice the lenses again, the very first thing, on these as well - Maui Jim - The Flats - Black-Tortoise / Bronze-Polarized.The frames are unisex. On me it’s a slightly over-sized look (oval face, a bit wide). There’s a comfortable hold, no slippage. They look great, fit great on my husband too, maybe better. The temples (frame arms) have a comfortable flex so can fit a range of head sizes. A triangular storage box and cleaning cloth are included.Note: Maui Jim has a warranty policy, also a repair service. Over years of use and misuse I’ve connected with Maui Jim Repair and have been impressed.
