If you’re looking for a fun little art project to keep around forever, this one is worth the buy. I bought it for my step-kid’s birthday and she adores Hello Kitty. The kit comes with a decently sized ceramic white piggy bank shaped in the lovable Hello Kitty design. It’s pretty durable and easy to open on the bottom. The slit at the top requires you to fold bills at least twice hamburger style (LOL). It comes with 6 different colors of paint and a small paintbrush. There are no instructions but the box it ships in has a model to follow for painting. Of course, my kiddo did her own thing and she loves it! She’s always finding coins on our walks and saving money from her little teeth she’s losing so she’s been loving putting her new piggy bank to use. If you’re skeptical about practicality because of the size, the piece makes a great addition for cute room decor after painted. It’s perfect for young kids or anyone really with a passion for Hello Kitty.

This kit is absolutely adorable and has been a really fun, relaxing project. The Hello Kitty and Keroppi figurines are cute as can be and have nice detail. I'm still in the middle of painting mine and I'll try to come back and update with a finished photo. A couple of tips from my experience so far: The little pots of paint they include are actually pretty good, but the colors are limited (mostly the core character colors). I ended up digging into my own acrylic paints for more variety and shades. The paint does go on a bit thin, so plan on using multiple coats for solid, vibrant coverage. So far, two is not enough to get an even coat. The kit only comes with one brush, if I'm not misremembering. For the details and to fill out large areas, I was much happier using a few of my own brushes. Overall, it's a delightful kit. If you go in knowing you might want to supplement with your own paints and an extra brush or two, you'll have a blast. It makes for a perfect gift or a cozy creative afternoon, or multiple afternoons, if you're slow like me, haha. Very happy with it!
