Works on painted walls, great for cable management.
Used these to run a cat 5 from my fibre optic box into the house, worked brilliantly, stuck directly to painted wall and none have fallen off after a good few months.

Bad adhesion
great for cable management I use it for my ethernet cable up to my room only problem would be the bad adhesion to surfaces like paint it would rip off the paint and then I would have to repaint that area therefore i cant really use them on painted areas but other than that they are amazing

Got the job done, but the adhesive tested my patience
Let me start by saying I didnโt buy these JEOPKO cable clips for some tidy home office setup or a sleek TV cable management project. I bought them for one specific, seasonal headache: attaching icicle LED Christmas lights to a fiberglass door canopy outside. You know the type โ the canopy over your front door thatโs smooth, slightly weathered, and just awkward enough to make you dread the job. I wanted a clean way to run the light strings without using a hundred zip ties or staples that would damage the fiberglass. The good: The clips themselves are fine. Nice small size, holds the light wire securely once it's actually stuck. 50 pieces means I had plenty to spare, and theyโre cheap enough that losing a few to the garden wasnโt a disaster. For the price, you canโt complain about the clip design. The mixed results (being honest): The adhesive backing isโฆ temperamental. Some clips stuck first time and havenโt moved since. Others peeled off within an hour, especially on parts of the canopy that might have had invisible dust or age-related residue. I cleaned the surface beforehand โ or at least I thought I did. In hindsight, I probably should have scrubbed with alcohol or something stronger. But hereโs the real truth: this was not a job I wanted to be doing at the time. It was cold, I was rushing before the first frost, and my heart wasnโt in it. I definitely didnโt press each clip for 30 seconds like the instructions probably say. Some clips went on half-heartedly. So I canโt fully blame the product โ part of the failure was user effort and poor surface prep on my part. Final verdict: If youโre patient, clean the surface properly (degrease/wipe with rubbing alcohol), and apply firm pressure โ these will probably work great. For a grumpy, rushed Christmas decorating session on a tricky outdoor surface? Theyโll get the job done, but you might lose a few clips along the way. Would I buy again? Yes, but next time Iโll do the prep work properly and not when Iโm in a bad mood. The clips themselves are good value. The adhesive just needs help if your surface isn't perfect. Bottom line โ works for outdoor lights if you put in the effort I didnโt want to give at the time.

Adhesive strength not great
These work OK, but after several months, quite a lot of them had fallen off the wall.

Theyโre sticky
Cables tidied in seconds. Instant adhesion so take care.

Used for outdoor christmas lights - sticks to plastic, painted cement, wood
Used these to hang my christmas lights outside - I stuck on the plastic window frame, on the wooden beams of the porch and the painted cement of the porch roof and these adhered great to each surface. I did lose a couple when handing due to the surface being a bit damp and the stickiness failing, but its such a big pack that I just replaced them. Really handy little clips - I dont know if they will last outside until next year, but at this price, if they all fall off I am happy to buy more.
