An Excellent Product That is Easy to Work with and Delivers Great Results
This product is incredibly easy to use! It's so lightweight that it almost feels like air, and it seems to combine the best features of bubble wrap and Mylar. It does an excellent job reflecting the sun’s rays, keeping areas cool and preventing overheating.Unlike those old-fashioned, heavy/sharp edged metal reflectors, this one is a breeze to handle. Despite its lightness, it’s impressively well-made and has been exactly what I needed. It's continued to perform beautifully, and I can't recommend it enough. This product is truly great at its intended purpose.Highly recommended!

works well for insulation/privacy in car
I used this to cover all the windows in my car for privacy and insulation. I camp in my suv and the insulation is great. Very easy to cut for the size you need. No adhesion..I spray water on the window and it helps it to stick. good value for money.

Good for car window insulation
Customized these for makeshift window covers for my Subaru Crosstrek. It worked out pretty well and was a fun project. It was a good value compared with the others. Helped to keep me warm and have privacy while car camping. I’d recommend!

Good insulation
I bought these for my pop-up camper as a way to better insulate the canvas windows against the heat. These are light weight and easy things cut to customize to fit any space. Using these have made it easier for my camper AC to keep up with the high heat of summer days and puts less stress on my AC unit. Seems to help keep the temp about 10 degrees cooler than the outside which makes a big difference in comfort.

HELPS ON THE OUTSIDE OF WINDOW GLASS
I live in a western facing duplex, lucky me. I live in an area of the Central Valley, CA experiencing consistent temps of 110 to 115, so far, which I don't recall in recent years. The intensity of the setting sun reaching its zenith heat comes blasting through 3 of my 4 windows from 5-7PM. I thought that if material similar to this reduces the heat in my car with the material on the inside of the car windshield, what if I placed this material on the outside of my thin original late 1970s windows? I already had sun screen hanging, but sitting here one day when the setting sun hit between 5 - 7 pm blew my mind with its heat through those windows! I also placed all my thickest blankets on the inside. The 4th window surprised me with the heat from an indirect but some direct morning sun also coming through hanging sun screen material, and by 9 AM that window was quite warm to the touch, so I wanted to cover that one also. Yes I now live in a dark cave, but it is worth whatever measure of degrees it keeps down. I keep the air on 80 which is actually quite cool and hopefully economical (in the mind of the beholder) according to the electric company, plus my swamper died.... I would rely on the swamper in the evening and through the night so long as it got down into the 70s. One thing at a time! I used my own method to hang, and the 40 something width, plus length is enough for 2 windows. I used heavy duty 2 inch safety pins to hang on old solar screen pins on either side of my windows, If those weren't there I'd use nail because there is some wood. Now the sticky pads are being tested on one window in addition to my method because the material won't lie flat. My property is also hostess to capricious winds that other angled homes don't get. Everything gets blown around, sigh! The stickies will be difficult for thick arthritis troubled fingers, but I will find out how they do. They initially stick very well and the material sticks on top very well (its been like 30 minutes since I applied them). Will it hold under my unusual windy conditions, I will find out. I think this is an excellent experiment for the price!

It's NOT OPAQUE !
I bought this insulation for covering windows. First, I tested the insulating quality with a hair dryer and it works as advertised. Then I installed it on the exterior of one window panel exposed to direct morning sunlight. Not much light gets through, but enough to just dim a room. So now if I want to darken ALL of the windows, it will take a DOUBLE LAYER = double the work and 2x the expense. Also, it arrived FOLDED instead of in a roll and the creases don't come out. That alone is a dealbreaker for a repeat purchase.Overall, a good product that suits my use, albeit only partially.
