I wasn’t expecting this to be great for a beginner HOWEVER it exceed expectations

be sure you pole length is good enough if the bolting received end is high or inside false ceiling
had to fabricate and bolt a U-plate first to extend downwards and bolt fixed plate on, then it worked perfectly

No pole
I seriously can’t believe it didn’t come with the pole. What in the world. Absolutely not!! Not for the price and no pole smh

Obviously prior return
This is obviously a prior return because it was not in a box and it had the Amazon resale sticker on it and in a plastic bag. What you see is what I got. No actual instructions or dimensions to what drill bit size I would need to get the sinker in. The plate looks fairly sturdy and does fit the pole. Overall I would say the product is quality but the price is subpar especially considering it was not brand new.

Perfect
The original ceiling mount that came with my pole did not fit into my new style ceiling. This is not only small and compact but it's very sturdy. I definitely recommend this.
