Nails IncGel Effect Polish, St James

When I put the nail polish on the brush was damaged, so I couldn't apply it without making a mess.Saying that the colour is true to the photo ,I really like it.I put it on last Monday and have still got it on over a week later ,I put top coat on when i apply it and also reapply top coat every few days . This helps the nail polish to last, don't know when I will be taking it off.

Nails inc are one of the better nail polish companies out there, and this colour is a repeat over many years for me, it is my go to when i am not in a red or pink mood, its a rich mauve but at the same time its a great neutral, great formula and great shine.

I have never used Nails Inc polishes before so thought I'd treat myself and get the Porchester square. It is basically grey without any pink undertones, as several reviewers have noted already. Okay, so colour aside, it is the quality that is not good enough. For £15 I would expect good coverage and quality with just one coat - instead the first coat was watery and doesn't cover the nail well at all with clear areas that are not covered. With a second coat it looked a bit better but for a so-called proclaimed brand and the cost, I would not recommend or purchase again as it felt like cheap quality polish. Other than that, it dried quickly - that's about the only positive.

Love the Nails Inc gel polishes, I normally buy "Porchester Square", which, by the way, I agree is a grey shade not nude, so I decided for the summer I'd try the "Uptown" colour, this is a pink/beige shade, not as pale as a blush pink and has no lilac tones so it looks good with most colours, definitely my summer choice for fingernails and I can leave the brights for my toes. The polish goes on easily and dries fairly quickly, nice shine to the finish and long lasting so no need to redo the nails as often. Delivery service was excellent too.

It’s my second time purchasing this particular polish, the colour is lovely and neutral the polish is long lasting and both in wear and the bottle lasts a long time too

I'd seen this colour on a shopping channel and heard other people rave about the brand, so I thought I'd treat myself. I can honestly say I'm a little bit disappointed!! I found it clumpy, it certainly doesn't go on smoothly. I love the colour, but give it a really low score for application. Have I received a bad bottle??

Didn't tried it on yet but love nail inc so don't expected to be dispatched.
