After some time with a magnifying glass I found a tiny solder bridge between 5V and Ground. After breaking that and checking all the other soldering (everything else was OK) it then worked. It is my go to programmer for working with various ATmega based boards at both 3.3V and 5V. But if you buy one you'd better check out all the soldering! I also added a header to JP3 which can be jumpered to program super slow - only needed when programming blank ATmega's and then only if you can't slow down programming in software (e.g. avrdude -B3 ...)

Works
Works. Need to install driver using ZADIG (zadig.akeo.ie/). I had to use the 'libusbK (v3.1.0.0)' driver to work on Windows 11.

Works well once fixed
First time I plugged it in my Mac reported a USB error and shutdown all my USB ports! After some time with a magnifying glass I found a tiny solder bridge between 5V and Ground. After breaking that and checking all the other soldering (everything else was OK) it then worked. It is my go to programmer for working with various ATmega based boards at both 3.3V and 5V. But if you buy one you'd better check out all the soldering! I also added a header to JP3 which can be jumpered to program super slow - only needed when programming blank ATmega's and then only if you can't slow down programming in software (e.g. avrdude -B3 ...)

Does not work.
This isn't compatible with Atmel and is not "USBASP". The USBASP driver does not recognise the device. When plugged into a Linux machine, no USB port comes up. Complete waste of time and money. Apparently, it is compatible with some Chinese GUI tool...

Ich bin Arduino-Laie und wollte mir ein paar FORTH-Systeme auf Arduinos ansehen, bei denen auch ein eigener Bootloader mitkommt. Das klappt ja nur über ISP, ich habe diverse "Arduino as ISP"-Anleitungen probiert, Stunden reininvestiert und bin komplett gescheitert. Resultat waren einige Arduinos, die ich nicht mehr umflashen konnte. Mit dem Teil klappte es out-of-the box. Einfach anstecken und mit "avrdude -c usbasp" bespielen - fertig. Das Teil sparte mir viel Zeit und rettete meine verbrannten Arduinos - Top! Insbesondere bei dem günstigen Preis mit 1-Tageszustellung sehr empfehlenswert.

Bought this a week ago to update a Befaco Muxlicer module and got it after less than a week. Well packed and working. Since I'm not a programming wiz a ran into some minor problems without knowing how to proceed. This Saturday evening I just sent a question via messenger to paradisetronic and got a direct response and help. I have now uploaded the code and everything works. Thank you so much whomever was on the other side! Saved my day!

top ! est reconnu sans probleme par avrdude en tant que usbasp, au contraire des clones chinois dont il faut flasher le firmware

Acquistato questo programmatore per aggiornare il bootloader del mio arduino micro che era corrotto ed è stato molto facile.In pochi passaggi sono riuscito a riprogrammarlo.Mancano le istruzioni, pero si possono trovare sul sito del produttore.Poi su Youtube si trovano tanti tutorial di come si utilizza.
