EXIT: Advent Calendar - The Silent Storm, Escape Room Card Game, Family Games for Game Night, Holiday Season Games for Adults and Kids, For 1+ Players, Ages 10+

Bought this as a family calendar to do together with my kids. Cannot fault it. You solve a clue to open the next door each day. Each day has a little part of a Christmas-themed story to read before opening the door. Behind each door is a little room with some cards or other clues. The clues involve the room or the cards or the box or any other materials. The calendar is really well made and the clues are fun and imaginative. Some are easier than others but they are all of appropriate level where they don't take too long but are enough to make you think. We have just finished day 18, and so far we had 2 days where we didn't quite get the whole clue and had to look at the cheat book, which gives you 2 hints then a solution. When you solve the riddle it gives you 2 solutions so that you can double check you've solved it correctly. It's a great excuse to find a few minutes to get together even if we've all had busy days and are home late. Will definitely buy one of their other calendars next year.

I now buy one of these every year for my partner. You get to do a puzzle a day which is great. The only 2 drawbacks are that you destroy the box as you go so you can't regift them, and there's not a big prize at the end. It's usually just a little trinket like a pin or magnet.

It's a great advent calendar, not too difficult to solve, but also not super easy. Worth the price! would buy it again.

99% of advent calendars are plastic tat or alcohol or chocolate (and I'm the big bad parent that doesn't allow chocolate at breakfast which is when advent calendars get opened). If you have a smart 10+ kid this is a brilliant alternative.... Or at least it was until the eye watering price hike this year. They've been releasing a new one of these for a couple of Christmases now and I promised last year that I would buy this year's release, so I kept my promise. I've not made the same promise this year because I will wait to see what the price for the 2024 calendar is before I decide.

So much fun. Great little challenges. Some harder than others.

Playing the EXIT Advent Calendar became a yearly tradition for us, we played all three so far. We can highly recommend them. It's always a good mix of puzzles with a lot of creativity and a mildly interesting story, which is geared more towards kids. My only complaint would be, that we had minor problems with the last two boxes. Last year's one had a printing error, and this year's one had a failed mechanic (a hidden piece was stuck and didn't fall into place), both stopping us solving the specific puzzle. Not a big deal though, as you can always look up the solutions.

Bought this for my sisters family, we are all massive escape room fans. We've done maybe 20 of the Kosmos EXIT games and when I saw this it just stood out as a perfect gift for them. Puzzles are really well balanced, taking between 10-20 mins each day, so enough to be interesting and worthwhile but short enough so you don't overload as you do one every single day. A very different advent calendar, gets the whole family involved and great fun. You don't need to have done any of the EXIT games before, if you have it has a very familiar feel.

Well composed riddles and story in this calendar. Although it is a bit on expensive side, it is a great gift.

Since this is an advent calendar, I didn’t plan to open it before December (opened it now as I was excited to see what's inside) so I cannot even return it now. The outer box looked correct, so I had no reason to expect an issue. However, it turns out that the instructions and all internal packaging are in German despite the exterior being in English. This is not acceptable.

24 énigmes à résoudre en équipe. Le concept est très intéressant car tous les supports sont utilisés y compris la boîte elle-même. En 2025 j'ai acheté une seconde boîte mais en Français pour faciliter le travail en équipe.
